Islanders lose season finale to Boston, 6-2

what a sad year for the NY islanders,they really succ,and I thought the rangers did but ,well baseball season is here

A perfect end to a perfect season. Kudos to all. Coach Gordo's new system is wonderful. The Islanders finished last in the entire NHL. That is not easy to do. But they did it. Good job. Congrats all around - Doug the geezer Weight, Superstar Okposo, Beetle Bailey, Park, Ricky Red Light, Yanni the Danni, Ronald McDonald, Franz the big dufus and all the others. what a bunch of losers.

You know what a real loser is? A guy who posts under different names trying to be funny, when everyone knows its the same jack-azz from Bellmore.

Pathetic that Chris Dreary and Scott Cajones are not living up to their contracts and only had 1 and 2 points more than our leading scorer Streit. The rangers are the biggest joke, spending so much money on free agents and barely making the playoffs. Cant wait to see the Capitals destroy you and see you guys cry again. And have fun watching Redden get worse and worse.

OK I don't get it. Is this Ranger fans on the Islanders' stories or are they Islander fans who think you can build a winner over night. Seriously think about having Tavares or Hedman on your team. Our team is obviously lacking something. Shall we trade away for a Ryan Smyth again? Should we trade our youth away for an average team? Who cares we came in last? Soon we'll have a good young team and then everyone who's hating right now will change their stories to how much they supported Snow during the rebuilding process and went to every single game even though they were a last place team. Or you can tell the truth and say yeah I'm an Islanders fan but I hated them when they were rebuilding but now that they're good again I go to every game and they are the best team ever.

The reason why the Rangers and the Knicks are just a tick above mediocre every year is because they never take a season to rebuild. Unfortunately for the islanders they havent rebuilt and have been mediocre for some time now, it seems like snow learned from his smyth mistake...we shall see.

thank GOD this season is over and can't wait for next season and the rebuilding to continue things can only get better from now on.

The Rangers suck they just pay more for it. Splendid free agent signings and production abound from Captain "Dog Puke" Drury, Wade Redden, Marcus Nasland and Scott Gomez. Throw in psycho path Avery you can understand why this franchise is not going to win the Cup again this year.

Check those stats. Gomez and Drury finished with numbers in line with their average. Did the Rangers overpay, yes, but there's not much I can do about that.
