Wow ! Last time the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, I was just a mere child. Here's hoping they can keep it going.

Great win, and a season series sweep of the Stars. Also Kaner scoring again, wonderful. Now they have 76 points, keep it rolling, and they are going to have the 4th spot locked up. Huet is stepping up big time and he is the goalie that I was hoping for when they signed him in the summer.

This sports section is pathetic. The hawks are by far the best thing going in chicago and all they get is a link down the column of "More Top Stories". Are you kiddin me? I had to look the page over more than once just to find the link to today's game. Go to the suntimes, at least the hawks get some pub over there. Top story on the sports section.

All around good play and effort by the Hawks. Had to watch the Dallas coverage (at least HD this time) and their announcers were clearly impressed with the Hawks.

Back to back excellent games for Huet. Buff did a lot of good work in this one. I liked Barker immediately going after the Stars player that ran Kaner in the 1st period.

Lots to like about the Hawks. It's been a lot of years since we could say that.

Too bad the Tribune hasn't caught on.

You are correct Chico myself included. I'll give the man his props. He's playing like he did down the stretch last year with Washington..He's moving well and seeing everything. The team is playing outstanding in front of him. Huet has stepped it up big time...Great for him and the Hawks!

My only peeve is that Wisniewski didn't take care of Barch after he ran him 3 or 4 times during the game..

Another great game!

A question for some of you vets. Should the Hawks trade Khabi?

Indy Hawk Fan: Tough to trade Khabby especially while he's on IR. Man, it's a tough call because the team is playing so well but again teams only rely on one netminder come playoff time..It's one of those damned if you do damned if you don't deals...I could see the Hawks maybe picking up a vet for a draft pick as a depth move for the run..This is my 2 cents...

What more could we ask for. On the road against a team that has been hot, had something to play for, is playoff tested, and had bad intentions. And the Hawks DOMINATE! I'm probably one of the more demanding posters. After a win I can usually find a couple of things I think they can do better. Right now I'm just sittin' in front of my computer with my feet up lovin' life.
Hey Tim, I got my playoff invoice today. I felt like a kid at Christmas, even though I'm paying for my own present this time. The prices were actually less than what I thought they might be. How confident are you? Gonna buy all 4 series right away? See you tomorrow.(Wild just beat Detroit. Call me crazy, I still think we can take the Wings.)

Indy Hawk Fan: I'm with Tony. It's a tough call. I'm going out on a limb and say they should trade Khabby while they can. But, he has a lower groin injury which makes teams wonder about his durability. If they can't get anything decent in return why trade him. We know he will not be back and Neimi may be the other guy next year. When healthy, The Bulin Wall has been outstanding as we all know. Then again, Huet deserves to carry the load in my opinion. I think the world of his ability, but it's time to make the deal.

They passed the biggest test of the season with flyin colors, going 9-3 during the 11-of-12-on-the-road-stretch, with the highlight being the biggest win of the year, beating San Jose in their own building. We sure gave them something to think about for round two. More importantly, the Hawks proved something to themselves in San Jose.

While we have a relentless offense, defense is why we so good. And Duncan Keith is our MVP, hands down. The only time the Hawks looked mediocre this season is when he was out.

Looking forward to a rockin UC Sunday night.

Boys, we've got ourselves a team!

Let's Go Hawks!

We were up 3-0 and 3-1 and Barch was trying to do something to motivate his team. Wis was right to ignore Barch under those circumstances. It would only help get the Stars rolling so skate away.

Tim: First --Sorry for using your screen name (again). I used it after last game to point out to the Tennessee clown that attendance at last home game was 10 times the size of his entire town. I then saw your screen name, so I will change to something else after this post(maybe "Tennessee blows")
Second -- I think the Hawks are going to take the division and 2nd place in the conference. Detroit lost today and their next games is vs. Sharks Wed. If they lose that one and Hawks beat Wild Sunday and Predators Tues. then Hawks have 80 points in 59 games and Wings have 86 in 61 games. Factor in all our upcoming home games and it looks like the division may come down to the home and home series the last weekend of the season (4/11 in Detroit and 4/12 at the UC). Who knows -- we might have the division locked up even before then. Wouldn't that be nice?! In either case, Tennessee will still suck.

Mr. Kennedy: I think that is what they are going to do. Management has the realization that this team could go on a long run in the playoffs and still probably will need both guys in the crease. It's a nice "problem" to have. I sure wish I was headed to West Madison St. tonight. It's on TV with Pat and Eddie in crystal clear HD!! Wonderful. Bring home a win to all the regulars who will be there!

Just musing, because it's very unlikely, but wouldn't it be fun to have Huet and the Hawks meet the Caps in the finals?
