It was all on the line at the mauseoleum tonight. With Yanni the Danni in the nets, I felt our hopes of the cup returning to Uniondale would be fulfilled. But then, Okpooso decided to stay home and nurse his broken toe nail. Could Bailey lead us to victory. but then Canadiens on the rush, three on two, backpass, slapper oooh nooo it went past yanni the danni and lit the red light then a backhander oh noooooo Islanders way behind and they lose and u let us down yanni u let us down. the architect cries and so does chico no stanley cup this year and the Tavares dude will not want to play on this team and it is all your fault yanni the danni.

This is how the Islander's should select (based on draft ranking) for the 2009 NHL draft. 1st - 3rd - John Tavares - Matt Duchene - Victor Hedman
30th - Jordan Caron - Calvin deHaan

That Bellmore guy is a loser, he has no life and always posts on Islander threads because the Rags are pointless.

I agree with taking Tavares if the islanders get number 1 but if they get number 2 and Tavares is gone you have to take Hedman. Then perhaps ship him off for the third pick plus something good and take Duchene there. If we end up picking third that freaking sucks, anybody know the odds assuming the isles finish last? Caron is a good pick at 30 or early in the second round I kind of like getting some big D there though like Doherty. Its all about getting lucky once you get that far into the draft though.

If the Isles finish last, which they will, they cant go lower than one spot down. So its Tavares or Hedman either way. rickrolled wrote: I agree with taking Tavares if the islanders get number 1 but if they get number 2 and Tavares is gone you have to take Hedman. I tried to argue the other day the Isles are not, currently, the worst team in the NHL. Last might-they looked like the worse team in the league. That was an AHL team on the ice.
Get this season over quickly.

It's even funnier that Islander fans are obsessed with the Rangers.. I didn't even know the Islanders were playing last night, yet the Isles fans were tracking the Rangers.. Why don't you just become a Ranger fan since you spend so much time obsessing

See it's easier to talk about how obsessed we are and "bad" our team is when your Rags are in 8th and could potentially be out of the playoffs all together. So that begs the question as to how much do you truly support your Rags?

Anybody notice how Reklich/Reklicz (however it's spelled) didn't back down from a much superior fighter and took his beating like a man , rather than be tossed around like a limp wristed rag doll.
