Until they dump Snowjob and Flash Gordon, this team will be a loser for years to come. Next year will be a repeat of this year .Its funny here is a coach who cannot win and a GM who can not put a decent team on the ice and they are cheered. Anyone else to have had this year would have been fired. Wang does not to win either, all he wants is the Lighthouse project and if that does not happen this team will be gone.

What are you an idiot? Have you even been watching the last half of this season? Before you make stupid comments (like Wang doesn't want to win), try watching the games first.

Wow you really are an idiot. You obviously don't jacks**t about hockey. This is going to be a great team to watch next year. Maybe you should try watching volleyball or soccer. Maybe you'll make sense there.

"JoeS" is obviously a meathead Ranger fan who is able to afford to attend 2 games per year in the "obstructed view" section at MSG. He is secretly bitter.

Yeah dude, the combined scores of those last three games (18 - 3) couldn't possibly be a reflection on the quality of this team or the coaching. Who's the idiot?

Keep drinking Logan's blue skies kool-aid....and screw up another high draft pick will ya.

Ranger fans are nervous because they know our young team will start kicking their team of old veterans around, starting next year!

First, I really think the 9-0 loss was a set up just to clinch the last place spot, The team has been playing very good hockey the last few months shutting out The wings.I am keeping the fingers crossed for Tuesday and hope we get the 1st pick!!!!!!!!!

Yeah and make sure you lock him in to a 15 year contract so even if he get hurt and misses most of the games he can't go anywhere.

Anyone want to bet me that snowman will trade the pick either 1 or 2 for a later pick in round one and some lower picks in round 3 and 4 and say we got another great deal 4 for 1 and we felt the 2 top players weren't able to make the team.Snowman will screw it up trust me.

If any good can come from this season the isles can't get this lottery pick wrong(where have heard this one before...)I would go with Taveras becuase goals are what we need, period.I'm sure down the draft order they say this is the most gifted talent pool that has come out in this years draft,Taveras,Hedeman,etc...in a long time so with six picks I'm sure there could be a big d-man in the draft. Now if we can find a team dr that can keep these guys heathy that would be a big lift.

Snow knows he has to get Tavares with te first pick, or he will take the NHL idiot award away from Milbury.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Komisarek, Montreal loves the kid and I think it's the same vice versa. However, I think Tavares and Hedman are both franchise players, sad to say, Ricky D will always be a liability to the Isles. The resigning of Weight just makes me think they're leaning more to Tavares at this point, Dougy would be a great mentor to the young center, hopefully Snow doesn't muck this up though.

I dont know about Garth Snow but Scott Gordon will be a good coach once he gets the right players. The coachs job is to work with what he has and the GM's job is to give the coach what he needs to succeed. It was like the Rangers, Renney was a decent coach but Sather did not give him the right players to work with. Eventually Sather could not do that anymore because he pretty much has our cap space set for the next 4 years. The Isles have had good coaching but the worst front office for any team I can remember.

They named him an alternate captain and he has been pretty good up there. Higgins on the other hand might be available. If the Isles were to get Tavares I think they would be a good fit.

Islander fans will always have a complex about the Rangers. As long as you guys play in a bad building in front of a few thousand every night and do minor league stunts like a blimp flying over head you will ALWAYS be the N.Y. team in the background. Stop already the put downs on the Rangers and concentrate on your own team. The Islanders have big time problems. Your goalie might be done and the rest of your roster would not even make most teams in the NHL.

why Ranger fans think that its a good idea to look for a fight in the comments section of an Isles article and take cheesy names like Phishstyx and think that they are cool or funny??
some people really need to look at themselves in the mirror or take something....

anyways this is the summer as Rose and Jaffe said, the Lighthouse this top 1 or 2 pick......better times should be ahead this is the bottom, but at least there are glimmers at the end of the tunnel

eek,
Pnut
