Hey Bigcat dady. Why don't you take your Rah! Rah! pom poms and go join the Ice Dancer girls.

As for the game....back to back wins. Finally! We needed it. Honestly, this was a very shakey win that we almost screwed-up again in the end. We should have dominated considering the Panthers had over 7 days of rest while Brodeur\Rafalski\Gionta had to attend the All-Star game AND play hard the night before us to shut-out Tampa. If we would have lost this game it would have been the final nail in the coffin for the team this season. The real bright spot is that Olesz is finally finding the back of the net which we will need desperately next season. Horton is still a disappointment even though his effort seems to be getting better.

The tide is slowly turning but not enough to make the playoffs.Olesz is an emerging star as he does so many things-defense-puck control, and now goal scoring.Jokinen and Allen are scary sometimes with sloppy passes.Horton is improving and Montador is really playing well.Chances of making playoffs is about 20% at this point-every victory raises that by 2 points.Great entertainment for my 15 dollar ticket.I love it.Martin is shaping team slowly. We will have playoff team in 1-2 years.Glaring weakness is goalie without Belfour.

Great game last nite. Eddie had some big saves, both goals were crud goals against him. Good to see this team twice come from behind in this game against the best goalie in the NHL. We continue to prove that we can beat any team in the NHL with Eddie in goal. If this team can find and build on more confidence to put teams away every night, I believe we will be th number 7 or 8 seed in the playoffs.

My observations last night: Gratton played much better, Olesz looked great, I continue to like the way Booth skates, Kwiatowski made the play of the game on Defense and then got the game winning goal, Salei continues to make mistakes, and we need more out of Jokinen, Horton, and Weiss. They need to step up their play.

Bill Murphy last night on the P.A. "Panthers fans, we are starting a new tradition tonight, from now on the chant is.."Go-Cats-Go", then we see a panther growling over the lead chant... Is this the south Florida version of "Go-Habs-Go" or "Go-Leafs-Go".? Here's an idea for tradition, go out and make the playoffs every year. Or more than once a decade. Look, great effort last night. My point. Don't worry about what the fans chant, the fans here have actually been extremely GOOD to this organization for the daily dose of crap they get, and that shot from that idiot in Toronto published by ESPN.com is shameful. That guy is a jag-off, this market WILL support NHL hockey, in spite of NO coverage from the local media. Great crowd last night with families, 50 year old guy hockey junkies, and LOTS of kids from 18 to 25ish going crazy and chanting. Thats what this team needs and they GET IT. So Mr. Cohen, save your bucks on the "Go-Cats-Go" bullcrap, because "Lets Go Panthers" works fine. Get us a sniper, and a fresh young goalie that Eddie can mentor (Auld ain't it), and make a run. You don't know how lucky you are Mr. Cohen that Belfour is still chugging with that back of his, I guess we are riding on that for this year, OR is he some trade bait for a salary dump very shortly? We're watching...all 18,000 in your house last night.

Alright, it feels good to have a winning streak. Now only if they would play the games in orlando instead of those crappy Lightning I would be a much happier fan.

I wouldn't count the Panthers out yet. 8th place team has 54 points, only 6 points back of it and 4 points back of my team.

Well, 8th is only 6 points ahead of 14th, it's pretty tight....... If Florida goes on a 3 game winning streak it could do a lot.
It also depends on what other teams are doing as well.

Watch out, the Penguins are playing really well right now. Going into the break they beat my Leafs 8-2, and they are comming off of a 7-2 victory against Pheonix. If Florida doesn't watch out they will get burned. The only team I would count out of the playoffs is the Flyers.

You're killing me BURGER. Bigcat Dady flames me because I'm not a fan in his distorted opinion. Then you flame me because I don't announce the team's demise early enough. Between the two of you knuckleheads, I should be right about in the middle which once again proves my point that I am right about this team and always have been. While they have the tools and talent to win, they lack the heart and passion to make anything happen. Until this team changes its culture of sucking, nothing Martin does will have any affect on this team and we will continue to lose season after season until either A)Cohen goes broke and sells the team or B) the NHL talks Cohen into moving them somewhere were they have no pro sports franchises to compete for fans. I'm hoping neither happens which is why I blast every board I see trying to get someone at Panthers HQ to wake the hell up and see the writing on the wall for a change.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Pittsburgh 3 - Florida 0 (8 mins to go)

Same ole lame Panthers.

I wonder how long you playoff 'believers' will stay on this bandwagon, as it heads off of the edge of the Grand Canyon. Face it. This team sucks, because its ownership and mgmt suck!

One more thing, did you ever think that maybe half the players on your team that you cheer for are Canadian?
