Great win! It's nice to see Guerin step up after scoring no goals for the first 6 games.

Good win, but teddy has to get these guys to tighten up a bit, to many giveaways in the defensive zone, but, a good win!

Nice win. Did not like the penalty calls at the end against either the Isles or the Devils - Come on let them play and decide who wins it.

Oh why did we not draft Parise? What a mistake that was.

We have to maintain control in the 3rd periods of these games. Giving up multiple goals after gaining the lead is not a good sign.

I hope the coaching staff can recognize a pattern and fix it. A playoff contender must be able to close the door when it counts and right now we are not!

Go Islanders!!!

This summer I posted that we should have made a lucrative bid for Parise. Parise is one of those players who will have an impact for a long time.

Lou knows it as he signed him long term in the off season. I have always felt that signing those that hurt you the most is practice to be considered. Parise had his goal against use - again!

Dang it!!!

I guess age has caught up with Brodeur.

2 games off out of the last 8?

Long season ahead for the Devils.

I saw a lot of things in this game that tell me that we are going to lose a lot this year. Yashin is definitely missed. He was the heart and soul of the team.

Sorry, Mike. Not gonna happen. I'm a big Islander fan (and I mean big, I can barely fit into the seats at the Nassau Masoleum - ha, ha)- but although we have won a few games, I see ominous signs that we will fail miserably the balance of the year. Listen to the breeze, Mike. It is whispering to you and it is saying "fish men will fail...".

If the second line keeps producing we're gonna do great. I'm wondering if we might trade bergeron and pick up someone to replace crummy andy hilbert, im thinking we could find someone that could do wut he does but can also score a friggin goal too

Yes, not drafting Parise will cost us. I'm seeing last place this year.

I remember you post! You were right on the money! And I liked your other post, where you said that the Islanders are the worst team ever. I agree.

Are any of you watching the same team I am. This is a hard nosed, dig it out of the corners team, battle till the end team. Last year we would have packed it in after giving up the lead on bad bounces. Not this team. They wear their hearts on their sleeve, and I like it. If you had'nt noticed we rank #1 on the PP and PK. 23 goals ranks us about average in the league. We have a team, not a bunch of individuals. Go Isles!

The pathetic Ranger fan from Bellmore almost makes me feel bad for the Blueshirts. No wonder they are still so bad this year if they have to put up with idiots like that.
