Wow!!! Like I did not see this one coming. Where is Drury? Playoff team. Where is Briere? Playoff team. Where is Campbell? Playoff team. Where is Biron? Playoff team. Where is Conklin? Playoff team. I see a pattern here.

TANK THE REST OF THE SEASON AND GO FOR THE HIGHEST DRAFT PICK POSSIBLE. WE WILL BE COMPETETIVE FOR A WHILE THEN QUINN AND GOLISANO WILL JERK THEM AROUND TOO AND THEY WILL WALK. BUFFALO IS A FARM CLUB FOR THE REST OF THE NHL.GOOD JOB ON TEARING APART WHAT WAS A GOOD HOCKEY TEAM.

dunno about you guys..but i'm burned out about this club...spent too much time trying to figure them out this whole season...no identity..no leadership ...chalk this season up to learning and having the kids develop.. 6 games left...and even if they did win and make it into the playoffs..they would collapse ...this is not a stanley cup winner let alone a playoff team...Its gotta be driving Ruff nuts. I'd love to catch quinn downtown..i'd kick him right in the butt and say THANK YOU SABRES!!!!

CHOKE, this team sucks Larry Quinn should be fired (but he won't, probably will get promoted by Tommy G), Darcy Regier should leave for a real GM job where he would be in a position to actually aquire a player instead of selling off everything, and Lindy should also take his act to the road, imagine how good he could be if he had a real team to work with instead of this farm club mentality. Larry screwed this team up when he was with the Rigas' and he got a second chance to finish the job. I see lots of empty blue seats next year at HSBC, oh and Tommy if you are not serious about winning then sell the f*****g team to someone who is

absolutely no reason this team stunk this year other than management. lawyerman took the words outta my mouth about quinn. he obviously has it in for the sabres. ive said it before, i just dont know how a team in a league with a salary cap where the playing field has been somewhat leveled for the smaller market teams, can cry about losing guys because of salary issues. every team can only spend so much. this team wants to spend none. the arena has been full for over two years with record sales on player jerseys, yet they cant afford some of these players? see how they do next year with a half empty arena. its not bandwagon jumping, who wants to pay a greedy management team as quinn and golisano

Thank you Tom, Larry and Darcy.

At the beginning of the season at one of the Sabres press conferences, Darcy said teh team would not be as competitive as teh previous year.

What Darcy didn't say was the team was going to suck this year.

I won't be renewing my seasons tix for next year.
I feel I was sold a bill of goods by the Decievers. How many more won't be renewing?

I can spend my money more wisely then going to watch loss after loss and hear excuse after excuse.

What time is T OFF time.Next week i think. What a joke this team is.How much do you pay for season tickets? Is it worth it? NO.Wait until next year is the war cry.How can you spend money to see this team? They were so close until they broke the team up.Sell the team and we will get over it.Life gos on.

Come on folks - most of the players checked out of this season when Campbell was traded.

In the real world, this happens all the time - when management implements a round of layoffs, or a stupid policy, etc - the employees are usually pretty upset and don't get much done until they get over it.

Sure, the Sabres players can't say that's what's happening/happened - but it seems obvious to me that the 'employees' have lost faith in management (if it was ever there to begin with this year.)

SOME FRANCHISES WANT A WINNER AND SOME ARE JUST FOR THE MONEY: example: Dallas football owner Jerry Jones wants to win...baseball and hockey also have franchises that WANT TO WIN, BUILD A CHAMPION....Buffalo unfortunatly DOES NOT..RALPH WILSON IS IN DISNEY LAND, AND THE SABRES ONLY SEE MONEY..last year the team had the makings of a champion NOW THEY DESTROYED IT FOR DECADES...Keep buying Jerseys, tickets, hats and food at HSBC and they will never try to build a champion...they saw the last of my money.......

You people saying they're in it for the money do realize that the team would make A LOT more money if they went to the playoffs right? You guys are fools, but I wouldn't put it past bandwagoners like you. I remember before the NHL rule change when we didn't make the playoffs for over 3 years in a row and I didn't hear this much whining. Since they still have a chance, and because I'm still a believer, I will be cheering on my home team until the very end.

Over the course of 20 seasons, this is nothing new...but then again, most clubs are perennial 7th to 10th place teams. It takes a hot goaltender, a healthy defense, and some "lightning in a bottle" chemistry with young over-achievers to finish near the top.

Last years team had it, this years team doesn't...and yes, sadly, we all know what's coming..."maybe next year".

As for leadership this year, who has stepped up? There's no bonafide captain...It could have been Numinnen...maybe even Connolly. But Hecht? He'd be a third liner at best on any other team. Same with Pominville.

Where was Maxim when we needed him? Let's face facts, he's not working out. And just when you think he should be written off, he has a good game. Remeber Derek Plante? Did he light the league on fire after he was traded to Dallas? Bye bye Max...

Defense? Come on...these guys play as if they're protecting a marshmallow in their pockets.

And finally Ryan Miller. The kid started to believe his own hype...and now he's looking to the Red Wings and their looking to him as their future. Watch him to have a good season next year, only to boost his contract numbers with them.

And you know what? We'll be here, in October through March...trying to believe. And we'll be here same time next year, maybe in 7th, maybe in 10th...pi**ing and moaning about the team...and you know why? Because we're FANS.

Buffalo-Gotta love it!!!

I think that Ryan Miller should sit out for a couple of games it seemed to work before. I also think that the others players should work to get puck in front of the net more. We need to stop getting penalty's. Then maybe we could do some thing.
