Khabibulin was stellar. In the 3rd period he looks like he was in total command of his game. Outstanding performance. You have to like Burish's penalty killing near the end of the game too. Yep, it sure wasn't pretty, but good teams find ways to win. Way to go Hawks...

Where's my comment from last night, tribune wankers?

Boy, look at the rush to comment on that little gem last night!
Not good enough boys. To borrow a quote from Mel Cooley, "yuck!" |

There's no doubt who's our No. 1 netminder.
Khabby! Khabby! Khabby!...! |

36 of 37! Again the Bulin Wall made everything look easy. Those "lower body injuries" are a part of being a mid 30's goaltender, especially in the NHL. The stress on the hips, groins, lower back and knees is tremendous at any age, but a whole lot more so as a goalie ages. I speak from experience: I lived with those injuries for years as an amateur. They WILL happen to anyone who straps on the pads. It's just a matter of when it will happen. This is the second time this season. We are reminded again of how fortunate we are to have Cristibol Huet there to step in! This is not the time to have a rookie having to take over. Neimi probably will be adequate, but I want Nik back as soon as possible. Go Hawks!!

Khabby steals another, take the two points and leave town fellas...

Bulin can't even stay healthy playing every other game...After Friday's game let's see what Niemi can do.

Only if Huet is god-awful tomorrow in St. Louis do I want to see a rookie in goal on Saturday. Like Chico said, this is not the time of the season to be testing out prospects in the most important position on the ice.

I still like to see what Niemi can do playoff race or no playoff race. Maybe Bulin isnt really hurt. Maybe DT will package him and Buff for that center...L-O-L...Or maybe we're going to see if Huet can handle the load...Yeah, i'm delushional..It's been a long week.

I was at the game, and it's always good to see The Indian on the chests of so many fans. Plenty of rousing "Let's Go Blackhawks!" cheers echoing, too.
