Looks like the Florida Panturds have managed to make sucking into an art form. Tonight's loss was just magnificent. DeBoer should be proud. Another 2nd string netminder behind one of the worst teams in the NHL ended a 6 game winless streak and put away Florida's NHL farm team and its hapless cast of career AHLers. Yormark should suggest a new NHL ad campaign. Need a winless streak to end? Just play the Florida Panthers. They'll make it happen because the one thing they are consistent on is coming to the rink unprepared to play hockey.

Well tis site will be very quiet..
The Rah Rahs have all gone..The counterfeit Rah Rahs are hiding under new and old phony names..
Wonder what TGH, Louie, realist, Murphy, mr oblivious, stickman, panthergoal..and so many more of the same Rah Rahs with different names are doing at this time..
Perhaps they will place their annoyance at management and realize that all of the press that they fell for, was just PT Barnum smoke..
Perhaps, when Cohen loses hs attempt at his Mega Plaex plans, he will be gone..
Alan Cohen, blow Michael Yormark out, before what is left of your reputation is gone..
Take positive steps to save your franchise, before the door is shut on you...

vic b is all those posts? I don't think so! If he is, he's gone crazy from watching this team!!! It's so obvious Zednik is a non factor, Peltonen can't score, yet these guys get 17 to 20 minutes, why they're playing Frolik ahead of Stewart (play him some because of injuries to SW and GC and now Stillman, but not regular shifts!)he's not another Rusty O. not by a long shot. I say bring back Matthias he can win face offs and he's all over the ice, play Stewart regular shifts, bring up Garrison, let him play, way less time for Zednick and Peltonen and Bouwmeester.

P.S. Management really knows how to kill the spirit of a player.. Stewart was one of the top forwards in preseason and Matthias had a good camp. Sit the one guy send the other down, play a rank rookie on regular shifts with the top line!!! Why doesn't he sit? Enough to make you do posts in other peoples name's. Go figure. Red Barron is right. We're the patsies of the league. Bouw doesn't want to be here, and a lot of guys will follow if mgmt doesn't get with it fast.

Vic B, Captain, Mr Oblivious, all the same..
It just a matter of of how looney they are and who they want to be at the moment...
This is the worst Panther team ever....
Its soul purpose looks like a vehile to get much more from Broward county, and tax payers..
The Rah Rahs need to understand that there loyalty has been compromised..

The future is not bright at all. When a team can't shoot more then 4 times in 20 min, they should go and change their profession.

This is a first rate example of incompetence from ownership to coaching to players.Red Baron I salute you as you have been right on from the get go about this team.We are so bad that losing Weiss cripples an anemic offense. They keep playing Circles aka Zednick and the boozefinn aka Peltonen 17-19 minutes each and bench Stewart and send Matthias down to the AHL after a good effort in the NHL.Pie Face Martin is really running things and DeBoer is just a figurehead.DeBoer looks like he has aged 10 years in 11 games.Garrison plays great and gets shipped down and
Welchaid plays more.I think Martin needs to donate his brain too! What a collection we have here--Pie Face,Circles,Boozefinn,Welchai d,RagDoll,Sleepy aka Bouwmeester.and the rest of the gang.We even sent the dancing Banana and the walking nose to the ECHL in Estero!God help us-we will need divine intervention to finish better than 13th this year at best.May the good news be yours-over and out --punchdrunk Vic B

Thanks VicB. No salute necessary. I know I always come down hard on this team, but I really am a fan (as much as most posters don't believe me). It just breaks my heart to see this franchise reduced to a laughing stock year after year after year. There seems to be no end. I figure the only thing I can do is voice my displeasure and protest among other fans and hope that someone in SSE gets a hint that they are running the franchise into the ground. Oddly enough, in the early days the Panthers used to be one of the proudest franchises and hardest working clubs in the league. Even if they didn't win a Cup or make playoffs every season, they still had the respect of their fans and of other teams. Sad to say it, they've lost that respect today. Not only from their opponents, but from their fans and anyone that watches NHL hockey. They are a complete laughing stock. What hurts even more is that with each losing season fewer players want to play down here (no matter what money is offered). Once you get into that rut, it is almost impossible to get out of it unless a defining moment changes the momentum.

At this point, we know Martin won't do much. DeBoer is losing his grip on the team. The only thing that can be done is what everyone has suggested so far. Sit the vets who don't perform and let the kids have a whack at it. They still have something to prove. Sure they will make rookie mistakes and blow games, but at least they'll show up for games ready to give their best effort. I don't mind a loss if it was a hard fought game. As for the rest of the slacker, they are just paycheck players who couldn't care less if this club ends up in first or last place.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
