" There was a missed coverage on three goals where we had people in place but didn't pick up the man. That was a breakdown, and we didn't get the save. But from a defensive standpoint in our zone, we didn't give up anything and we spent little time there, so we must have been doing something very well in the offensive zone on the forecheck."

This coach seems very happy that the team can forecheck. I guess it doesn't matter much that the D sux and they are losing.

I just don't get it. WoW

Another bad loss aside, I guess it is open season on Islanders. First, the Mottau hit on Nielsen which results in a 2 game suspension. Next, Brashear sticks out a leg and knees Weight, no call and to add insult, Brashear ends up scoring on that shift. Then finally, an elbow to the head of Bailey goes uncalled while Hilbert gets 2 minutes for going after the pig who threw the elbow. What am I missing here ????
