The NHL buyout period begins this Wednesday, and last week it was revealed by both the New York Post's Larry Brooks and the New York Daily News' Jesse Spector that the New York Rangers will be buying out their team captain, Chris Drury.
Your headline reads "Chris Drury: Misunderstood by New York Rangers Fans", yet your article does not discuss how you think he has been misunderstood.
I disagree with your headline, I don't think he has been misunderstood at all...it simply comes down to production, and Drury has not produced since he was brought to NY. I like Drury, and was thrilled when he signed, but sadly he hasn't worked out well as a NY Ranger. End of story, no misunderstanding.
Chris blows and was never misunderstood--he never produced --took the Big money and was a big bust--hope he latches on to another team.
