Okay for years i'm begging for trot's as an assistant coach due to his past success' in that roll. Well since that ain't happenin' i hope garth Snow now realizes that with lemaire and his coaching staff going back to NJ, the former best asst. coach the Isles ever had in Jacques Laperriere is probably available again. Can someone pleeeezzzze put this bug in the GM's ear !!!!!!!!!!

Since when can "Hunts" protect anybody? And you want him protecting the first overall pick? Hunter is useless as anything but a third-fourth liner. I've really never seen a bigger box in the NHL.

Wow...really Isles? You still have nothing better to do then pretend to be me? |

what a sad and sorry life you live. I guess you need something to do now that school is out huh? Maybe next year you will get enough courage to ask Little Debbie to the school dance!

John Ta-var-es!!!!! John Ta-var-es!!!!! |

Malhotra would be a nice addition, although he has been tainted by the enemy after being drafted by the Ranger's. |

One great way to improve is to pay Tanguay the going rate and lock him up. But I'm sure based on getting burnt by Yashin and no show DP the Isles have chosen to focus on kids with minimal salaries. While other teams continue to scout and land serious names to bolster their roster, our roster looks like "well maybe someday they'll mature into quality hockey players." I don't think the Isles should ever play the buy/sell game like the Rangers but damn there's just so much us fans can expect from rookies and second year players. This is truly gettting beyond the frustration level. I realize Charles has lost a ton of money on this team, but how are we to continue to believe in a package of kids, more kids, and a lot more kids.
Sign Tanguay, give Tavares a truly high quality linesman...we saw what Bailey did right out of Juniors,,,while Tavares is a terrific forward he still isn't Crosby or Alex the Gr8 |

can someone tell me why i cant have a photo of the 2009 nhl draft logo autographed by the 7 players we drafted! I spent my money for this picture and got an orange sharpie specificly to have it autographed by our 2009 draft picks, then drove for an hour to give it to my rep this morning, he called me back a few minutes ago and told me that upper management said i could not have this picture autographed becuse i may sell it! what!? sell it? no! i want it for me! i have had my own season ticket for years now, and i always sell other tickets for them, I even bought the loyalty plan for last year and next year only to get gipped out of another$200 this season, but i cant get the one thing i have ever asked for? i think that someone else saw my idea and figured they could do the same and sell it so they stole my idea. this is compleate b.s. these kids havnt even played an nhl game yet and i cant have there autographs? not to mention that i wasnt alowd in the minicamp becuse i already spent my money, the only way for a fan to get in was either if you were thinking of buying tickets or if you got to iceworks before 9am on sunday to get a braclet! well lookout bandwagon fans! im in 318-J-1 and im going to treat you the same way i was treated in your favor! ITS RIOT TIME!!!

Look this team's management is trying desperately to be a force in NY and karma follows them around like a dark cloud. They mismanage everything. a few yrs back I wanted to propose on the big screen and they said no they dont do that, i was willing to pay thousands and they said nope, then 2 yrs later someone proposed on the big screen. They treat their fans terribly, so what I do is...nothing. Ever since this incident I have never given oe dime to the Islander organization nor will I ever again. Oh I am a diehard fan who only goes to games with free tickets which are in endless supply nowadays, never pay a dime for parking and never buy anything once inside the coliseum. They have clue zero on how to treat the fans that acutally care about the team, and this is why I will NEVER ever give one dime to this team again. If they fold and goto KC I will be severly upset, however they will have to find some other shill to give them money because there was no reason to deny my paying request then approve some other schmos SAME EXACT request, so Mr Wang, I getn othing but extreme satisfaction hearing how you have been losing 20 million for several years because quite frankly, with the way you operate this team in relation to the people that actually care about them, you deserve to lose it all and more. |

Tanguay is a bit over-rated. He played with Forsberg...Sakic...Yelle...Hej duk... there is no reason to overpay him. |
||||
I was pretty sure that first "Dino" post wasn't you. I do think the guy who posts as ISLES is likely a young kid. He lacks the honest cynicism of age... for either team. |
||||
50 goals? are they going to let him play nhl '10 while hes sitting in the press box at the garden because he pulled his groin and sat out 50 games? |
