I do agree with you that Pronger's play in the playoffs was not respectable, and I do think as a player it was a dirty hit twice over again. Therefor I would like to see the NHL do something about it adn bring forth a system of punishment which is the same across the board not one that favors star players. And honestly i think the biggest concern us as oilers fans should have is Kevin Lowe's ability to bring in those star players which we are lacking. One has to remember that both Pronger and Smyth, were traded by Lowe. Lowe could of had the balls to tell Pronger he was staying in Edmonton or not playing hockey at all. So Lowe should take some of the blame also for Pronger leaving.
