The Hawks are about breaking trends. They were the first team in the series to win when scoring first. Hopefully they will be the first team in this series to win on the road!

FLAMES - I don't even get it. What I think you're trying to say is that this series is fixed. Well that is a new and interesting excuse. And heaven forbid a hockey player trash talk another hockey player. Poor little Iginla. All I can say is that if the trash talking is the reason Iginla disappears every other game (like Saturday), I sure hope the Hawks keep it up!

I love how all the Flames fans blame the refs for all 3 losses. Anyone with eyes saw Cammalleri's cheap shot on Havlat in Game 1, not to mention all the post-whistle BS the refs in Calgary let the Flamers get away with. It's just pathetic...let me guess...it was the refs fault for you guys not showing up in Game 5??? The "C of Red" is getting doused out tonight!

No sane fan of either team can think that this series is somehow fixed. There have been good, bad, and missed calls in both directions. The Flames need to figure out that the refs are going to call infractions and not look the other way because it's the playoffs.(Keenan, are you reading this??)

I need to believe that both teams will be playing their best for the next two games. For me, that means the Flames will win. I predicted the Flames in 6 but I'm willing to be wrong by one game. See you in the stands on Wednesday.

What are you trying to say? Sound it out slowwwwly and carefully because you make no sense at all...if you hadnt mentioned that you were from the north I would guess you were from the south with your poor grammer and all.
Iginla is one of the "toughest competitors" in the league but he becomes a crybaby when people arent nice to him? The games are fixed???
That only happens in the NBA son, didnt you know or you just out of touch living on the farm?
This series ends tonight without PHANEUF and the CALGIRLY stars not showing up to play every game.

You have been very civil on this message board (unlike several Calgary trolls), contributing good points. and for that, I think we have all accepted your comments. Thanks.

That said, I honestly don't know how you can say that if both teams play at their best, Calgary comes out on top. These teams have played 9 times already this season with the Hawks winning 7 of those contests. If both teams are playing at their best, the Hawks win. Not saying there is a huge difference in overall talent like some have suggested, just respectfully disagreeing and pointing to the obvious (record) to support my claim. Of course, home ice has been the great equalizer for the Flames in this series. Should be a good one tonight!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Aries

The behaviour of somebody around you (most probably your partner or family member) may be rather irrational today. Alternatively, a surprise involving one of these people is possible. Try to keep your domestic plans reasonably flexible to cover all possible outcomes. The focus is on improving your relationship with your partner or with friends today. Any outings should go very smoothly.
