Islanders to face Bobby Nystrom's son, a Flame

Eric Nystrom a flame?!?! Newsday should have come up with a better headline.

So typical of the Pathetic regime of the past number of years. There are so many sons of former Isles regime not drafted by the Islanders. 1) Zach Parise for sure, Gillies, Sutter, Nystrom, the list I'm sure goes on. Meanwhile, the Isles where is any semblance of talent developing into a goal scorer? Okposo? hopefully! Oh i forgot Tambellini he has shown a lot.not.

Colton Gilles is a second cousin of Clark not a son. We couldn't pick him anyway because we didn't even have a pick until the third round last year. Same with Brandon Sutter. Eric Nystrom was also taken before our pick came up. You can only really complain about us not selecting Parise. Your statement is very misleading.

Plus, they signed Hart and Howatt's kids. Not saying they'll ever be anything great but so far Parise is the only second generation Islander I'd really want. Maybe Sutter, I'd have to see more. Nystrom has less points than Andy Hilbert. Can't say I'm sorry we don't have him.

The Islanders should draft an elephant.

You are right. He was very misleading. I agree with you also on your point about the Islanders stinking.
