Who is suprised by this? Where are all those obnoxious one season fans from last year? find something else to cling to? Worst front office in the NHL....You get what you pay for in professional sports...

This is what happens when you let not 1 but 2 premiere players go. There was also valuable leadership lost which this team so deperately needs. Time to push the panic button as they show no signs of improving, hell it's getting worse.
This team went from the presidents trophy winner to as of now a non playoff contender in just one season How in the hell is that even possible? Darcy should be fired for this. This is unacceptable and it is going to show next year when the arena is empty.

The Butterknives suck. Last in their division. 2nd worst in their confernce and 3rd worst team in points in the entire NHL. Screw therse natural born losers.

0-28 in road powerplays.

A friend was giving away tickets for free and I didn't want them. Why waste my time, parking and gas money.

TG...help this team...Quinn ruined it. If you are obligated to this man, give him a job @"PAYCHEX"...let him ruin that company.
Darcy..Lindy...if you want a Championship, you must find other employment on another team, whose owner is dedicated to winning.
PLEASE GIVE US OUR TEAM BACK!!!!

These guys are SCARY BAD!! I don't agree with what the front office did with Briere and Drury, but I find it hard to believe that two players make this much of a difference. And if that is the case - if two players carried a team that much for two seasons - then the rest of this team doesn't deserve to be out there making the money they make!

Could it be that the players have no respect for the front office because the front office has no respect for them? The way they have seen their teammates treated - with no loyalty whatsoever - has understandably left them with no trust in Golisano, Regier & company.

Whatever the case, the front office and the players need to start paying attention to their fan base. They are not putting even a decent product on the ice! Every real fan knows we're not going to win every game, and we're not going to make it to the Cup finals every season. But we at least expect to see a contender out there when we pay the prices we do for tickets, not to mention parking and refreshments at the games!! Win or lose, we expect to see players putting forth a REAL effort, not a lackluster display of laziness and crappy passing, only to be followed by the same excuses/explanation game after game after game.

Hey They put forth some effort against the Thrashers. You don't expect them to work hard every game, do you?

Dave - you're right. There's no leadership on this team anymore. It's the blind leading the blind. The talent is obviously still there, as evidenced last Friday against Atlanta. But something is missing mentally, emotionally, I don't know. they've lost the heart, drive and determination they had last year and it's breaking my heart too to watch them self-destruct this way. I hope they can pull it together before it's too late.

Drury gone, Briere gone, Campbell soon-to-be-gone, Dumont, one of hottest players right now not re-signed. History seems to repeat itself with this team. A couple of years ago someone said they had their eyes on Ty Conklin for a while, last year they grabbed him now he is gone. He looks like an All Star for Pittsburg at 10-1-1 as a back-up. It has to be one of two things, Sabres management is cheap and incompetant or the players just don't want to be here. Last year President's Trophy winner, today Laughing Stock of League winners. Don't be fooled by getting your hopes up too high for this team. Without an influx of better talent especially at defence this team will go nowhere. Sell the Sabres and buy the Rochester Americans, Golisano can save money and put the same type of quality on the ice.

I am a Sabres fan and, for that reason, I truly hope that the Sabres do not make the playoffs this year. Then and only then will the fans and the ownership react. The fans will hopefully stop buying tickets until the team improves from the top down and the ownership will hopefully react by firing the two morons who created this horrible situation. If we, the fans, don't react then we are fools. If the ownership doesn't react then we will see exactly what their intentions are. None of this will ever happen if the team makes the playoffs, even as eight seed. So please join me in hoping and praying that the team does not make the playoffs this year. It's the only hope for any sort of future improvement.
