Once again the management team of have made a decision to show the loyal fans of the buffalo sabres where they are going and it is not good First it was Jay McKee, than JP Dumont, than last year with Danny Biere and Chris Drury and now goodbye to Brian Campbell who is next Danny Paille, Palmville, Derrick Roy, Paul Goose Goustad, the players who bleed the colors or this team are let go mean while the players who just loft like Max, Kalien, Tim Connolly, get to stay, oh yeah just one more we had a back up goalie named Cocklin last year after we traded Marty Biron what ever happen to him oh yeah we let him go and signed this bum Jose I let in goals from the goal line 200 feet away. Every team has a back up goalie who gets to play sometime except in Buffalo, so even if this team makes the playoffs its not going anywhere because by that time Miller will be burned out and probably look and play just like his back up One more player who this management team decided to waste money on is that excellent fighter, skater and forchecker who wont fall over his stick yes they signed Peters for how muck money. So keep these players and you because I quit the NHL espicially the Buffalo Sabres

The organization is definitely not sending a good message to the rest of the team. The players are probably thinking "if I get good , I"ll be playing somewhere else." The sabres definitely dont' want to pay anybody worth anything.

HAVE TO BLAME THE PLAYERS TOO.

Turning down $6 million over three years to play a damn sport? and for only 5 months? WAKE UP BUFFALO.

Until this city wakes up and starts thinking that it is players who ARE PLAYING MGMT you will continue to be disgruntled. The players are at fault just as much as front office.

Soupy turned down offer and STOPPED...LET ME REPEAT THAT STOPPED talking negotiations. Hello Breire, Drury again. Front office had to make move because when Cambell stopped talking, he was playing the free agent market.

Truely sorry to see you leave soupy...but this one is on you. Best of luck.

I think that trading Cambell was a move that the Sabres will regret in a long run. He has scored many goals for us, and trading him will just make it harder when it comes to wining the games.Ever since Drury and Briere were traded we took a little hurting, and got off track, with Cambell now gone, who knows what will happen to our team. Lindy Ruff has made some really bad decisions, but this one I personally think is the worst one yet.

Regret? Why are they going to make less money? If they squeak into the playoffs, you'll all be chanting "Thank You Sabres." Ahh the old days when we used to chant.. "Ohh Ahh Sabres On The Golf Course."

where they are going with this team,
but right now it seems down hill.

It's not Regier, it's LARRY QUINN who must be the problem. Don't forget he helped to dismantle the SABRES when the Regas's were still the owners. He's still here and Tom Gollisano unfortunately listens to him.

Campbell didn't want more money, just a longer contract. He should have gotten it!

Flash back to the aftermath of Drury's departure when Quinn tried to downplay the impact - Regier interjected "of course we will not be as good a team". No, really? Where the hell is Golisano? Quinn treats the team like it is a hobby. How much of this can you pin on Regier? I don't know, but do you seriously think they plan on signing Miller? Get real. As long as we keep filling the arena for a susbtandard product, Quinn will keep doing it on the cheap. Golisano is clueless.

Let Campbell go - I won't miss how he does his spin-o-rama and botch a scoring chance. By the way - did anyone see how he gave up in the final minutes of the game last night? Also, anyone who turns down 18 mil over 3 years is a numbskull.

It seems the Sabres have become the farm team for the NHL. Brian Campbell brought qualities to this team that can't be bought or traded for. Why couldn't management offer him a 7 year contract similar to the one Vanek received? It seems that Regier, and Quinn would rather see this team at the bottom of the league than to retain core members of the Sabres. Last year the Sabres led the league (season start 0f 10-0) and now they will be luck to make the playoffs. I guess it is just a business.

Horrible move. Campbell was one of the best skaters Buffalo had. Getting tired of seeing my favorite players move on to other teams. Now we lost an All Star defensemen and gained a so-so winger.. nice job guys!

Another good example of how this management team of Golisano and Quinn are running this team into the ground.Last year we were 1 or 2 players away from a Stanley cup and this lastest move will keep us out of the playoffs for some time. The only way they will understand our dissappiontment is to stay away. don't buy a ticket for a crappy product.Maybe they can hitch a ride with the Bills in 5 years. Both teams SUCK

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
