Gordon supports Danis but wants improvement

As the NHL 's last-place team, the Islanders have first pick of all the players placed on waivers, but they passed yesterday on goaltender Dany Sabourin, who recently was traded from Pittsburgh to Edmonton.

Smart move not picking up Sabourin. I watch most of the Penguins games and he is not any better than what we already have. By the way, I had to watch the Isles game on the Ducks broadcast. They were talking about a possible Isles move and the announcers said that "the coliseum is a wonderful building to watch a hockey game in". It would be a shame if they left. they blamed the holdup for a new building to building permits, zoning regulations and such. I guess that's a PC way of saying the right palms haven't been greased.
