Can someone explain what reason Renney can give for not playing Prucha? Other then the fact that he doesn't like the kid but is in love with playing Vorros. Makes no sense for a team that has trouble putting the puck in the net.

Liam, totally agreed. I don't think he can give you a reason.

It's one big reason of the many reasons I think he needs to go.

As far as the players mentioned above regarding who the Rangers should trade for before the deadline, they need a bonafide scorer who is not a "perimeter" player. They have all the passers, stick checkers and pretty skaters already; now, a down and "willing to get dirty in the blue" scorer is necessary.

The problem I have with the Rangers is that even though they have a substantial amount of wins, I haven't seen them BEAT teams- Sounds strange but where are the decisive wins, the 5-2'sthe 6-2's the games where you just need to kill the clock and go home ? This team is not built to win the grueling sudden death overtimes of the playoffs - I just don't see the toughness oir the mental toughness that it takes- Many of the Rangers 2 point wins were from shootouts- They go away come playoff time...Sather bette acknowledge this and bring in the right players who can perform in the playoffs- Besides Gomez...who on this team has a Stanley Cup ring ?

Renney tries so hard to be positive, but all it really does it show his inability to acknowledge and deal with the negatives.

Get some new blood on the powerplay. The same players get the majority of the PP time, and what do they have to show for it? Renney needs to send a message. These guys are vets, who cares if there feelings are hurt if they have to ride pine for the PP, or the entire game. Let them know that they are not meeting up to their standards.

If Renney keeps this up until the playoffs, I smell a 1st round sweep.

In 94 Keenan got rid of guys he felt didn't have the stones to help the team grind it out through the playoffs so, based on his prior playoff experience, he demanded the team move certain guys and bring in the right type of playoff player like Matteau, Noonan, MacTavish and Anderson- Part of the problem is that Tom Renney doesn't really know what it takes to win win in the playoffs because he's NEVER really been there- Sather has to use his good judgement and get some guys in here who aren't afraid to lose their teeth and sacrifice their bodies for the team-

Thanks for the link man. Though I think he is full of it. Great that the reporter tried to pin him on it. Rangers can not score goals and Prucha is not far removed from a 30 goal season. Makes me sick.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Capricorn

This is a marvellous day for having a discreet word in someone's ear. You'll be able to choose your words carefully, making you very tactful and considerate, and as a result you will have a helpful conversation. This is also a good opportunity to talk about topics that are very dear to your heart, or which are usually too private to mention.
