What a comeback win! The young B'Hawks are young, energetic, composed, and operate as a team. The GM and coaching staff deserve a lot of credit for all they have done to bring this talented group together. And let's not forget Dennis Savard for his contributions, either! GO BLACKHAWKS!

Man...heartbreaker to see my Nucks go down like that, especially when we had the lead in every game in the series....but beyond that, You Chicagoans should be elated with the team that Mr. Dale Tallon has put on the ice for you guys!!! You fans are pretty lucky!!! I'm jealous and really choked...but a realist and can accept defeat...congratulations!!

congratulations to the Hawks enjoy this moment because your team isn't going to get any better than they are right now. Detroit should beat Anaheim and then roll through Chicago like a freight train, their style is designed to take advantage of transition teams like Chicago and it shouldn't take more than 5 games for them to sit the Hawks down. this offseason is going to be particularly challenging for Chicago as they aren't going to be able to keep this team together, there's too many free agents who'll be wanting more money and not enough cap room to keep them all happy. they also have to save cap room for the year after when they have to sign Kane and Toews, they'll be expecting huge contracts and the cap is expected to drop that year by as much as 20%. so party down and enjoy the extra 2 home games you get this year, the salary cap hangover won't hit til next year.

Oh Gameon jealousy is an evil sin!!!! How about our 4th shift guys eh? Eager was brutal with the hits. Oh and big Buf man what a series. It is so exciting to see a proud franchise rise once again. Toews will be a legend. He is clearly the best player on the ice for the Hawks and one of the best in the NHL.

Respect the Indian!

Eight down and eight to go. Bring on the Wings.Kane's hat trick was awesome. The first goal when he playe the puck of the boards to get by the Nucks d-man was reminescent of some of the moves he treated us to when he played in the OHL for London. That goal plus his third were works of art. His second goal was eye hand coordination combined with determination and skill.Three goals showing three different aspects of his talent.
Bolland was super on face offs tonight. That guy is amazing. We saw him shut Crosby down in the Memorial cup game when the knights won the Mem cup.
Even the Canadian tv coverage is asking how good can this Hawks team be in the future when they get more experience under their belts. If Dale can keep the key guys we have now and tweak it just a bit we are going to have a few trips down Madison Ave. with Lord Stanley's mug sitting in the seat of a convertable. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go, Blackhawks! Great game and you should all be proud of yourselves. Well deserved win and congrats to Kane for the hat trick. You were all on top of your game, which cannot be said for Luongo. He should go. Goodbye, Canadian Canucks.

The Sedins are shopping and Luongo's wife hates living in Vancouver so you guys may have a few holes to fill as well.
In the meantime we will put the Canucks and Flames notches on the gun butt and move on to play the Wings. Going to the conference final>> those words have a nice ring to them don't you think?

LOL...So you want Detroit? LOL...my friends in D town are salivating for this matchup. I had to remind them that they have a little unfinished bus. first...Well, if Detroit does win tomorrow, that will make two of three series within 260 miles!! Geez, I'm getting excited about this matchup. To update you guys, the Wings have been without Rafalski this whole round. He may play tomorrow. The Wings are sitting Draper(imo)and playing this speedster Helm. They're also playing this huge rookie D man Ericcson, who's impressive. Now they have another new guy, Abdel-something, and he looks good. I think they were waiting for the playoffs to inject this new blood. BTW.... Osgood is actually playing well!! Again, looking forward to this series, hope it happens!!

gameon63, what a sore loser you are, nothing but sour grapes, I knew one Vancouver fan would come on here and cry like a baby, fact is Blackhawks are moving on and your team isn't, and don't insult us by pretending you know who the Hawks will and won't re-sign, you know absolutely NOTHING about our team, except our team sent yours to a summer vacation, sorry you're so angry but try to post with more class even though it might be hard to do.

Way to go Hawks - the better team won this series. I've never seen a team have so much determination - they never counted themselves out. A true great group of young hockey players. As a lifelong Canucks fan, I have to say, it really isn't so bad to lose to a team that deserved it like these guys - I hope they go all the way now.(Not too bad to cheer for four B.C. boys and their team!!)

Vegas guy:
With the power house the Wings can put on the ice Osgood doesn't have to be exceptional he just needs to be adequate and he has been that so far.The thing about a Hawks -Wings series is there is a lot of history and mutual dislike between the teams so it should be a great series. It would be a revolting development if the Ducks managed to oust the Wings because most Hawks fans relish the Detroit-Chicago rivalry. Hockey, hoops, football, baseball all keep this pot boiling quite nicely.
