is it a requirement for a certain percentage of islander fans to be homophobic and to use ridiculous feminized versions of ranger terminology and names in their moronic posts?

Not at all.
And I'll prove it.

Great game tonight at the Rock. Exciting brawl between Avery and Clarkson set the tone, lots of hard hitting on both teams, Rangers didn't give up, Brodeur was awesome and the Dawes goal in the SO was just plain sick. He reminds me of Jussi Jokinen in how good he is in the shootout.

good thing the isles are 20 points out of the playoffs then huh? Like I said, rangers are the best against the best teams and have trouble with crappy teams

Usually some Islander fan posts in faux Ted Nolan speak--a sad attempt at humor and actually quite racist. But enough about the islanders and their 17 fans.

If the rangers and devils meet in the playoffs, there is no way there is a sweep, either way. It would be an awesome series. Probably seven games.

I would loved to have been a fly on the net when Dawes scored on Brodeur. He was mumbling something...Dawes has owned him this year.

GO RANGERS!

GO RANGERS!
That was great, he was staring at Dawes as he skated back to the bench. He must of had some choice words for him. Marty doesn't take it too well when he loses to Hank. Love it.

I really thought the Rangers winning hold over the Devils was over. With about 5 minutes left to play, Drury scores the tying goal. I sat there saying unbelievable, how could the Devils blow this game. The Devils had out played the Rangers all game, got to the puck first, had better scoring chances, broke up the Rangers rush but, they couldn't put the game out of reach, they let the Rangers stay close, that was their downfall.
Regulation time ended tied at 2 each. Sudden Death Overtime didn't produce a winner, the Shoot Out was next. I thought it would go deep maybe the 6th. or 7th. shot would be the winner.
Nigel Dawes, I first saw and heard of him before the season started. It was said he had an outside chance of being called up to the big team. His height was a problem for me, he wasn't by any means a big dude. When he was called up, the first thing he remined me of was a Water Bug
he scooted around the ice, around players, avoided being hit and had a sneaky shot for a small forward. He kept his name in the minds of the coachs by his determination and nack for scoring goals, that is the name of the game.
He had success with the Shoot out, he had scored 3 or 4 already. Lundquest was on top of his game denying the Devil shooters to score. Nigel's turn came, he skated toward Brouder, then put the most prettiest fake I have seen in a long time, it was all in his hips. Brouder took the bait and Dawes buried the puck in the back of the net, Rangers win, again.

Games like last night's just strengthen the point that the NHL is WAY too eager to go to the shootout. Would've been so much more exciting for those teams to go head to head until someone scored. That's why Hockey is a TEAM game.
Death to the shootout !!!!

Another season and the Islanders once again miss the Playoffs. All they can brag about is being 4-2 against the Rangers. The Rangers will gladly take those loses every year if it puts them into the Playoffs. The Islanders would do better to put the effort against the Rangers to a few other teams. If all they live for is to beat the Rangers, you won't see them in the Playoffs for years to come.
