Bruno. Take another pill Bruno. Looks like you do not like hockey and never grew up with it in your blood. My brother played with Chris. It is amazing that Chris came from Chicago roots and is still playing at 47. It can happen for young players who grow up here if they have a dream and stick with it.

Alot of Real Hawk and Hockey Fans do. The man is still playing the game he is very good at and is almost 50. He will be a HOF`er someday and deservedly so. Even if his numbers dont stack up, his hearet, enthusiasm, his love for the game and the way he played will get him in.

The day we got Chelios I couldn't believe it! He was Chicago, the enemy, the one we loved to hate. I can tell you that in the years he has spent here in Detroit are special ones for us. He IS hockey, he IS a class act, he IS family and hockey at it's American best. Thanks for sending him to us. We hope he goes into the hall of Fame a Red Wing.

I don't understand why Chelios is booed everytime he touches the puck at the UC. He is truly a great player and It kills me that he gets booed. My God he from Chicago, he instills what hockey is all about. He is blue collar, goes to work, loves his job and does it extremely well. I was taught by my parents to respect people, you may not agree with them but respect them the way you would want to be treated. Thanks to Mr & Mrs Chelios you should be proud of all your children. And Chris thanks for being a class act. I enjoyed your years with the Hawks

He is booed because he stated on Sports radio a few days before the trade that he would NEVER play for Detroit. He agreed to go there and lied to all of Chicago. That is why he is booed.

....go Evergreen Park...and Quigley South isn't a seminary anymore---it actually is St. Rita---home of Ed Farmer, Dennis Lick and many other Chicago legends....

Being a seminarian explains your giddy manlove and your desire "go greek" on Mr. Chelios.
Are you aware of how stupid you sound here, or did you mean to misuse the word seminarian?

Here's another Greek word for you: thesaurus. Learn it, get one, and study it.

You take a pill.Read my post and you'll see that I have no problem with Chris. My problem is with his parents and with the Trib for posting about the parents of the enemy with whom the Hawks are battling to get to the Stanley Cup Finals.

The man is a future Hall of Famer and anyone who is a TRUE hockey fan, not just a bandwagon fan because the Hawks are winning knows that and respects that. No one should question why people care about Chris Chelios! Cheli is 47 years old and can still play against the best of them, when given the chance.

I have always been a hockey fan, but when he was traded to Detroit from Chicago my allegiance went with him (regardless of what he swore he would or wouldn't do), it doesn't change his talent! I would absolutely LOVE for him to come back to Chicago!! The Hawks are doing very well and deserve the hype, but they could learn from Chelios, the man has a talent and discipline that cannot be ignored!!

Yes, I am from Chicago, born and raised; and yes, I am pulling for another Cup win for Cheli!!
Sorry Bruno

The Hawks won't make it to the Finals. Not this year anyway.

Take a cue from the Cubs fans...wait til next year.

No matter how long you try, you will never come up with a dumber reason to boo someone than the one you just threw out there.
Go ahead and try, it can't be done.

That is the single worse thing anyone could possibly do to a Blackhawks jersey! I would rather see a Hawks jersey being burnt than cut in half and mated with a wings jersey.

As far as Chelios goes, yeah I have a lot of respect for the guy and listening to him on AM 1000 the other day, it is obvious that there is always a special place in his heart for Chicago....but....he's just played for way too long in a detroit uniform for me to get all those warm fuzzy feelings. I do not want to see the Hawks bring him back as a player (for several reasons), and I do not want to see the Hawks retire his number 7.

Um, no misuse by me dear. Since English is obviously not your first language I will school you.
A seminarian is a student in a seminary especially of the Roman Catholic Church.
I was responding to a supporter of Quigley Preparatory Seminary South and I am assuming he was a student there. All students at this now closed school were male and were taught by gay men employed by the Catholic Church who enjoyed anal sex with other men and boys. Going or doing it Greek refers to anal sex.
Also, thanks for the thesaurus tip. I looked up cuntscab and found it is a synonym for Marsha.
The fun facts one learns daily!
Such nice use of foul language! What a "real man" you are.

I am well aware of what a seminarian is, DEAR, since I WAS one for over three years at one of Chicago's finest. Not Catholic, obviously.

Here's a clue: your post still didn't make sense. Perhaps you don't realize that your post had nothing to do with Chris Chelios, who is not even Catholic. Since Chelios IS the subject of this thread, perhaps you should post about him, and stop tossing about invective like the 12-year-old you strive to appear to be.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
