I don't think the Hawks are going to finish bad enough to have a chance at Stamkos....This summer it's time for Tallon to hit the FA market big time.
You are correct sir! One caviat about Hossa, I lived in Ottawa when he was with the Sens. Great player to watch during the season and he will help get you into the playoffs but then has a habit of disappearing.
Still say Cambell would anchor our power play.

Hossa has definitely been a choke artist when April rolls around. It will be interesting to see what happens this year. He is playing with a good cast around him.

Campbell is developing into one of the premier defenseman in the league. It is reassuring to hear that Tallon will make a run at signing him.

Hossa would be a good addition as well. If the Hawks were to acquire him, it may be the end of the run in Chicago for Havlat.

I'll bet it will certainly involve a lot of teams for Campbell. Paul: Nothing like Canadien hockey youth tournaments! I still believe if the money is there, top FA's will definately want to come to the Hawks. How about Hossa AND Campbell? One can always dream.

That's why a strong finish is a must for this Hawk team. It would go a long way as a sort of recruiting tool for some of the top FA's as to how good the team can become and how fast it can contend for the ultimate goal: The Stanley Cup...

last 2 games have exposed our weaknesson special teams. Against the Wings and Hurricain the power play just didn't click. Last night the pk was what killed us , gave up 2 pp goals.
We need 2 good free agents to help us here.
In the east my favorite player to watch is Ovetchkin with the Caps. The guy's enthusiasm, skill and love of the game makes the Caps games exciting to watch. The Caps are ib the same boat as the Hawks fighting for a play-off spot.If the Caps get in i wouldn't want to be the team that faces them in the first round of the play-offs.
THe hawks have had 4 pressure games in a row against top teams, beat the ducks and played well against Sharks and Wings. I think that last light was the first brick we tossed. Experience is a hard teacher but in our case a necessary one. Character developed in this years run will turn into determineation and success next year. Hate to say it but we are in a real doubtful position for this year. No matter, keep up the great Hawk fan support!! GO HAWKS!!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
