It was good to see Carle get his first goal with the Flyers. That was a beautiful shot off a nice feed from Gagne, who had 2 goals and an assist.

Six wins in a row. It's been three years since that has happened. Defence is coming together and should only get better when Parent and Jones come back in Dec. Offense is doing good to despite not having Briere in the line up.

Well, that just shows the depth the Flyers have on offense, to be able to overcome the loss off Briere. Carter and Gagne have been picking up the scoring slack. No other 2 players on any team has more goals that Carter and Gagne.

As of now, the Flyers have 3 players that are on pace to break the 40-goal mark (Knuble, Carter and Gagne) and 2 players on pace to break the 20-goal mark (Lupul and Hartnell). I think 30-35 goals is more realistic for a guy like Knuble, while I'm still not counting out lupul to break the 30-goal mark. I picked him to have a breakout season, and I still feel it will come at some point. He'll get hot eventually...as for Hartnell, I think we can expect 25 goals from him this year, cause he scores his goals in bunches, it seems...especially against the Islanders, Rangers, etc...

I see Dev, being the tool he is, disagres with everything we post. He's still hurting because by the looks of it, Toronto will be missing the playoffs again.

LOL, yea, he's been doing this since he lost the bet back in April. As for Toronto, I'm not really sure what to make of them. I know for sure that their coach always gets the most out of them, and who knows? They may end up pulling off something similar to what the Islanders did when they made the playoffs in 2007. The playoff standings this year will be interesting given the fact that Jersey is without Brodeur for the next 3-4 months and the question with that team is: Can they continue to score 4+ goals in a game while Rolston and Holik are injured and Brodeur is sidelined? At any rate, this could very well open up the door for another team from the north east division or southeast(Buffalo or Carolina, respectively).

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Virgo

You have energy to burn today and it needs positive outlets, otherwise you'll be rather ratty and impatient. You want to work on activities that will show you in a good light, and you'll be annoyed if anyone objects to what you're doing or points out where you're going wrong. If you've been nursing a secret passion for someone, the frustration will really get to you.
