Isles' offense keeps them in playoff hunt
Jason Blake, Arron Asham and Miroslav Satan scored in the third period to preserve the New York Islanders' faint playoff hopes with a 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night.

Ahhh... one of those rare times that I can say I'm happy to hear that the Rangers won. I just hope it doesn't all go for naught.
The Flyers on Saturday will be looking to play spoiler but the Isles have played well against them. The Leafs have played well lately and can still make the playoffs so they might do their part on Saturday. The Devils will have nothing to play for on Sunday and might rest some players. It could all work out. Go Isles! |
