One of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. I could not believe the number of flagrant fouls that were not called. Then to turn around and give Avery a 10 minute misconduct for talking!

this game, the last game against carolina, and the montreal game where the refs swallowed their whistles after the "classy montreal fans" took a cue out of the fishstick fanbook by throwing things on the ice, were some badly reffed games.

Staal did NOT high stick Cole. That was Backman, but thanks to the incredible officiating, they charged the wrong guy with the penalty.
You must read the AP article and then just write your own article from it. Man, that's pathetic. (If Backman has two more games like that one, you won't see him again.) |

Um no, it was clearly Backman's stick. I hope that you were at the game with no chance at a replay because the MSG telecast showed that it was CLEARLY Backman. |
