More impressive than the Islanders' winning record over the past two months may be their ability to emerge from the dark tunnel of midwinter discontent - when they won only two of 22 games in a disheartening December-January stretch - in surprisingly good humor and still eager to be playing hockey.

That "Tim Jackson" has been great on the 4th line. This is the reason Greg Logan should be writing the Islander articles.
