It's nice to see the Illinois Legislature overrode the Governor's veto of anti-corruption laws. I doubt you would ever see that in Long Beach, especially considering the City Council's recent decision to bury lobbyist regulatiions proposed by Bonnie Lowenthal and enforce in EVERY other large city in California.
