What did you think would happen? You don't have the personell to replace your top players and won't for at least 3 years , if you wait for the minors to produce scorers. This team is going backwards fast, I would like to know more about the new owner and why he chooses to do nothing with this team. We should have built a Vikings stadium and forget about hockey. This town only has the abuility to support two pro sport teams the Vikes and the Twins ( and not the Vikes soon). It's to small time for anything more.

Letting Rolston go was the WORST move this team did in the offseason. I had no problem with letting Demitra leave since he wasn't producing as much as he should have been but letting Rolston walk was just stupid. If DR thinks that Sheppard, Gillies, and Pouliot are the future for the Wild we're screwed. Between the 3 of them the have a combined 33 points and Pouliot got sent back down to Houston. If they keep going in this direction we're going to end up like the Thrashers except we don't have Kovalchuk.
