No doubt, the WILD signing of PMB shows that the organization is thinking not only the present but in the future as well. But, I still think we need another center because last season, when Wes Walz retired (now an Assistant in Tampa Bay) we kept shuffling centers between James Sheppard to Mikko Koivu with a little or no consistency. We were losing faceoffs in OUR OWN ZONE, at times our penalty kill unit was awful. We are 7-8 million left under the 56.7 Million dollar salary cap. With that, we can sign Peter Forsberg and sign Gaborick to a long term deal and trade Martin Skoula to a team who wants him.

I don't think Gaborik has the health history of Oveckin. IMO Gaborik is a bit too fragile for the Wild to commit to him for that long.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
