The Blueskirts will be ordinary at best. The NY team to watch will be the Islanders. They are young & hungry & will do damage beyond what the so-called experts say. Can't wait to see the Isles kicking some blueskirt behind all over the ice.

My Last memory of Jagr is in his last game as a Ranger he had 0 shots on net.( in a playoff game) O shots.Any other player who was important to this team in the last 20 years;would they have done the same? No. Jagr was a very good player;but when you are the Leader of The New York Rangers,a little bit more is expected.
No shoys on goal in his last game in the NHL and seperating his shoulder against Scott Gomez is what I will remeber about this player

Another "well informed" islander "fan" thrills us with their rhetoric. Just to help you out, the average age on the teams rosters as they stand now break down like this: NYR- D Men 27.16 yrs, F-26.42 yrs., Goal- 28.5 yrs Team avg-27.36 yrs. isles- d men-28.85 yrs,f-28.46 yrs, goal- 27 yrs, team avg. 28.10 yrs. So who is the younger team? Each team list 7 new players from last years roster so whose to say whose hungrier. Now to the point while Jagr is a very talented player I won't miss his playing when he felt like it, stepping up at different times is unexceptable from your Capt.If the effort is consistant every game then maybe a last month scramble to make the playoffs won't be necessary.

Jagr was anything but a leader. I found him to be a very selfish player... not a team player at all. If you want to talk about leadership and someone who will truely be missed both on and off the ice, then you are talking about Brendan Shanahan. Sign Shanny!!! Sign Shanny!!!

please... as big a ranger fan i am, i believe the rangers will miss Jags sometimes...not all the time, but trust me, sometimes, they will.My last memory of him will be the last garden game, when he scored 2 goals and dominated every second of that game. I will miss jaromir and i thank him for what he did for this organization! and i sure hope when the playoffs roll around that someboby steps it up like #68 always did!
