Savor the wins. There won't be many of them. At least they are showing some heart.

Good article by Steve Gorten. And not only are the Panthers' players showing happiness and high spirits, but so too are real Panthers' fans. Yes, in contrast to the one or two depressed recidivist non-fan posters who post their boring doom and gloom under various a/k/a names, we true fans have always been behind the Panthers and will continue to support the Panthers as they rise in the standings. True Panthers' fans are proud of the boys as they play hard each night and scrap for points. I still believe that this Panthers team can make the playoffs, and I will be at the BAC this weekend to cheer for another Panthers victory. It is so much better and more fun to be an optimist than a pessimist, and this Panthers hockey club is giving us all something to be optimistic about.
GO PANTHERS!!!

The cats have won a few and are a few OT goals short of a five-game winning streak. They're showing some heart and I hope it lasts. Buffalo and Ottawa are winnable games (a point out of Boston on Saturday would be a welcome surprise). This time next week could see the Cats ahead of the Canes in the standings (they play Pit, Phi, and Was).

nitpick: At this point does Anthony Stewart really count as a "rookie"?

Newest garbage for your Pnather management..
To ensure that our Season Seat Owners have the best experience possible at the BankAtlantic Center, we have a zero tolerance on the selling of tickets on property by any one other than BankAtlantic Center Employees at the Box Office. Sunrise Police Department will be on hand to assist us in making sure that violators are escorted off property. After failure to comply with "one" trespass warning the offender may be issued a Notice to Appear Citation or be taken to the County Jail to be booked and would have to post bond. This policy will be in place from BankAtlantic Center property border to border.
Please make sure to utilize your Season Seat Owner Tools including:

Online Ticket forwarding
TicketExchange - the safe way to sell a game you cannot make to other season seat owners looking for tickets, found on www.floridapanthers.com under - Season Seat Owner Login. Your password can be found on your renewal invoice top right corner or feel free to call your personal account representative at 954-835-PUCK and we will be happy to assist you!
Utilizing Will Call if you are handing off tickets to friends and family. We Strongly encourage you to use will call to conveniently leave tickets for another party

Good job by the whole team. Out work the other team and keep putting the puck on net. Kudos to Anderson who may be the single most important piece on the team at this time. A few more wins and even Red Baron may be showing a little optimism.

When your defensive forwards are your best scoring line, it tells you: A. the veteran forwards are more willing to sacrifice the body to stay here B. The grit game, willing to get your nose dirty, getting checked against the boards with the puck, furious and tenacious back checking is a winning formula. How long it will last depends upon the coach and the players willing to sacrifice each and every night. Any team once inspired with the kind of play we're witnessing now will get points, sooner or later. They'll get the garbage goals, the fortunate bounce, the odd angle goals, because they're working and controlling the play. It 's called hungry for the puck. I was hungry for this kind of play! Let's see how long they're going to sustain it. Every one's got to be on board every shift. That's what winning teams are about, we'll see if we have one here. I hope so!

Their spirits should be high. They're playing the best hockey in the NHL. DeBoer's proving to be quite a coach in his 1st year.

"The team game is much more important than individual skill," DeBoer said. "We've been proving that lately"---------- this is something thet can do with Jokinen gone.

We all ready read the article..Did you?? Or you like posting as if it were your thoughts, but copied Gorten??

This season is starting out worse than last season, but like last season the Panthers have a few good games, followed by too many losses, and in the end a short spurt at the , and failure to get in the playoffs..Then managemnet blows smoke up dumb Rah Rah fans arses and this board next season is filled with Rah rahs..

Here's a concept: If FL wins tonight and Carolina, both in regulation, the Panthers will be one point out of a playoff spot (tied with BUF at 9th).

I'm not sure if we'll win the next 2. But if we keep playing like we have lately I think we'll do alot more than just make the playoffs.

dude u r losing all credibiliy. Although i dont believe we have playoff talent, that doesnt mean i dont enjoy the ride. And i have been surprised before. Managment has spent the money, its whether JM has assembled the talent. I dont think so, but i am excited to be wrong, and would rather attend the games under the recent circumstances then wearing a brown bag.

So lets go panthers tonight!!!

Ok, here's the latest scene:

Red Baron has his Alan Cohen doll propped up on his fat stomach and he is sticking pins into the doll.
Yormarks Observer has his Yormark doll and he is trying and trying to put a Sy Syms suit on the doll.
Wounded Panther says he doesn't want a doll because it is too "aged".

They all look at each other, and say, the Panthers beat the Caps and are really playing well, but we can't admit that because our Depression Support Group requires that we remain negative. So let's keep saying that the Panthers will lose and let's cheer for the other teams to beat the Panthers, because we are not real fans but we are whiny losers and quitters.

And so goes the saga of the 3 Stooges.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Sagittarius

If you have any worries or problems today, a close colleague could have the answers you seek. Work will be satisfying, and anything to do with children should be very rewarding today. There could be friction with a relative, but it's nothing serious and things will sort themselves out in due course. Again, you must pay attention to your health, Saggitarius: skin infections are a strong possibility at the moment.
