the flyers have a great team this season, it's going to be fun watching them throughout the rest of it as well as in playoffs.

Well, it had to end sooner or later. Kudos to the Canadians for playing a stellar game. Our guys just couldn't hit the net. I got really tired of hearing "Carter shoots high and wide; Richards shoots high and wide", etc. Big game against the Caps on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see how the boys rebound from last night's beating.

Habs capitalized on their chances, we missed the net and took lazy penalties. The score should have been a lot worse, Nitty made some spectacular saves, most notably the one on Robert Lang down low. The one bright spot was the Metropolit line with Asham and Upshall. They were part of both goals and had the best scoring chances of the night.

Agree that Nitty played well and yes, that was one sweet save.

Judged:

The Habs also got off to a great start, going up 3-0 within the first period. A 3-0 deficit is hard to overcome, even if the Flyers came back from a 5-1 deficit against the Canes. The Habs also had too many breakaways, while the Flyers didn't capitalize on their chances and shot high and wide alot. The game may have been a lot different had a couple of them gone in...but as Carter said after the game, you can't win them all....so, the Flyers need to regroup now and come back with a W on saturday.
