The guy is the textbook definition of BUST! As a Ranger fan I couldn't love that wonderful 15 yr contract more, hahaha. The (L)Isles have hitched themselves for the next decade to a certified CHUMP! LOL.

He is certainly not a bust...Al Montoya--bust. DP has no need to come back this season--the team is not going anywhere. He has 8 months to recover and be ready for training camp. I say let them sign Dubie and have a Dubie/Macdonald tandem. They will finish 30th but will be better off in the long run for it.

They'd likely finish 30th even if DiPietro was healthy all year. But it's nice to see them start to talk about shutting him down for the whole year. He needs the time off to heal completely. He is no good to the franchise if he's going to suffer injuries after every game.
