I'm loving the passion of this series, but I am hating NBC's coverage. What really ticked me off last night was NBC decided it was more important to play commercials than to show the pregame moment of silence of 21 year old Luc Bourden, of the Vancouver Canucks, who died in a horrible motorcycle accident Thursday. NBC didn't even show the national anthem being played. Commercials ANY chance they could get!

100% agreed. To ignore that moment was shameful, as was ignoring the national anthem. Luc Bourden was going to be a very good player that all true hockey fans knew.

Hopefully the Wings capture the cup at home on Monday, and then I can get back to ignoring their network.

It's been a great series and Detroit has shown why they are considered the best in the NHL. I do agree that NBC has provided horrible coverage. Not showing the national anthem, not honoring Luc Bourden and then making us listen to that fool Mike Milbury during periods. Just because hockey isn't as popular as other sports doesn't mean you need to subject the fans to second-rate treatment.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
