WHY DID YOU WRITE THE STORY???? That is POOR journalism. WE THOUGHT YOU WERE A PROFESSIONAL. GUESS NOT!!!

There has to be some truth. Somebody said something to someone. You know Wang and Yashin are buddies. All his underlings will abide be his every command. There was talk. DP STOP THE PUCK. WHAT'S NEXT OVER EXPOSURE TO THE RED LIGHT FROM ALL THOSE SOFT GOALS.

I am quite happy that I saw this. I will start off by thanking Newsday for making this corection. However, I think that a much, much bigger deal should have been made of it.

This stupid article- that contained nothing more than the carefully-worded fantasies of a biased agent as its only source- spread all over the frickin world (literally!) because of that misleading title.

Unfortunately, there are hockey websites everywhere that are still talking about how the Islanders are in negotiations with Yash, that they regret the buyout, that they missed him, that its just about figuring the money out, etc. That is how things were presented and by trusting a biased schmuck like Gandler to tell the truth without spinning things in his clients favor is an example of very irresponsible journalism. Additionally, whoever made up the title should no longer have that responsibility- because, obviously, they dont have the ability to read a story and see what is really there.

The comments attached to the original story are in the hundreds. Here, there are now three. Its just not right.
