Tough game all around. Can't really point the finger at one person after this game but they can bounce back on Friday afternoon in Boston. Lets Go Islanders!

I blame Bergeron.
The Isles power play is 3-37 in the month of November and he is sitting in the press box.
Time to arrange a trade with Deb Kaufman and carry 7 D-men.
Put him on the blueline with Berard as the QB during PP's.
Three 5 on 3 opportunities tonight and nary a decent scoring chance.
I don't care how bad his defense is, when you can't score on ONE 5 on 3 opportunity, you are not gonna win many games.
And who gives a damn about "defense" when you have a 5 on 3.
There's DH's in baseball, what's wrong with a DPP'er in hockey?

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The Habs are going nowhere. They didn't make the playoffs last year and have the same roster this year.

What was great, was watching a home game ,which should be in HD, on ch 79 with a horrible picture, and the knicks were on the HD channel, but the game was not in HD because they were away.what is cablevision thinking??

Way to make a statement Islanders, you get a big win against my Rangers then lay an egg against the Habs. Typical for the Isles. They can never build on a big win. By the way, what did the Rangers do after a tough loss? I think they took care of the hottest home team in the league. That is what good teams do after a tough loss, they evaluate, make adjustments, play harder, and you see the results. Take note Islanders. Go Rangers from Maple Grove, MN.

Dino - When the Rangers finally beat the islanders this season then you can open your mouth. Until then your babbling means nothing. What happened last year, 13 years ago, 14 years ago, or 25 years ago means nothing. Live in the present.

Rangers in first place? Islanders 4 games in hand, can't compare. Lets look at each team after 18 games since THAT we can compare.

Isles 18 games 22 points
Rangs 18 games 21 points

Or take any amount of games the isles have played and compare it against equal games by the rangers, the isles always have a better point total. sorry strangers.

There is no doubt, the Islanders are dropping in the standings every day. They stink. I am going to change allegiance and root for a real team, the New York Rangers. I have been an Islander fan for 38 years, but they are girlie men and I am now jumping ship!

News flash - Al Arbour just ate at the deli across from the Nassau Mausoleum, so we are crediting him with three more wins. There will be a special Al Arbour night again soon - look out for it Islander fans (aka dummies)! What a classy, classy, classy, classy thing to do! BTW, DiPietro ain't worth the money. He has more holes than the swiss cheese in the sandwich Arbour ate at the deli. Hehaaa! Islanders lose again!

Not the same lineup, and if they don't get the flu running thru the locker room for 6 weeks last January/February, the Isles are playing golf in April and Canadien is in the playoffs. I think you are wayyyy off in how this season will end.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aries

There's a lot of tension in the air, with certain people poised to spit the dummy, as Mars turns retrograde in your fifth house of romance, children and speculation. Confrontations are likely. If these are nothing to do with you and you just happen to be directly in the firing line, your best bet is to make yourself scarce. But if you are responsible for their outraged feelings then you need to face the music, otherwise things will only get worse.
