Who picked Mine That Bird? I did! Right after I read Bob Clancy's comments in the Courant about each horse. Every year, I check his picks and notes and make sure I bet the complete opposite! I was considering Friesan Fire til I saw Bob had him. Then when Bob said Mine That Bird was his pick to finish last, I couldn't get my money on him fast enough. Same thing worked with Giacomo a few years ago. Bob is making me a rich man slowly!
