The Sabres look tentative. They haven't hit Jagr or Avery most of the series. Instead of scary good, they just look scared.

MAYBE Is the Sabres powerplay just that bad or is the Rangers penalty killing just that good? Sabres have the worst powerplay I have ever seen. Time to start declining the penalties.

Sabres are a VERY quick team when they want to be. When Shanny scored that goal I said to my friend "watch they'll respond quick" and sure enough they did.
Problem seems to be they (Sabres)can't keep up that quick attack for a full game, and the Rangers non-scoring forwards understand thier roles as forecheckers.
Rangers "D" were in the forwards faces all game.

Oh, and yeah, like the rangers didn't get a "hose job" with the call of Rachunek.
If you can't tell its a goal, then it's not a goal, period.

Also on the pk there playing smart there clearing the puck quickly out of there end

However, that is no excuse for the Sabres standing around for 110 of the 140-something minutes played there, but it's tough to work what has been a precision passing powerplay system when the puck is jumping around like a superball! That being said, full marks to the Rangers! Their grit and tenacity has overcome the Sabres' hype and the playing surface difficulties.
