SWEEP IN THE MAKING...
Wanted: Preferred Rangers tee times beginning Wednesday morning.
Wanted: 2007 Draft picks, Islanders traded them all for phony playoff run.
How about the Devils with 4,000 empty seats last night for 2nd round playoff game.
That is a complete travesty. |
Who the hell are the 44% saying that the rangers will win the cup. Even my 5 year old knows it will be either the SABERS OR OTTAWA.
waaaahhhhhh! what a joke. one Dman goes down and the excuses for losing the series are in full swing!!!!!! PRICELESS.
You are counting out the Sharks? |
Just enjoy wondering if anyone will wanna sign with the Islanders this summer and looking to see what kind of sleepers you guys can get in the 3rd round of the draft. |

Hey, here is a mock draft for the 2007 NHL entry draft:
sorry Isles fans if you are left out of the fun! http://www.mynhldraft.com/2007 |

Check out this box score from an Isles - Senators game this year

heh ... better not. The Sharks schooled the Red Wings last night AND Yahoo Sports has them penciled in to win it all. They played like the Sabres will need to play against the Sens in a couple of weeks. The Ducks are no pushover either - fast AND gritty, kinda like Ottawa except with better Defense. |

Some great performances from our two outstanding prospects, Al Montoya and Marc Staal:
The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, beat the Providence Bruins 1-0 in a Calder Cup playoff game on Thursday night in Providence, R.I., to take a 3-2 Atlantic Division semifinal series lead over the Bruins with Games 6 and 7 set for this weekend at the Hartford Civic Center. The man of the hour was goaltender Al Montoya, the Rangers' first pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Montoya stopped 26 shots to earn both the shutout and No. 2 star honors. He had 10 saves in the first period, seven in the second and nine in the third to win a netminding duel with former Boston Bruins goalie Hannu Toivonen, the No. 3 star. The game's lone goal was scored by Nigel Dawes, who beat Toivonen on a power play at 8:01 of the second period. Dawes' winner was assisted by linemate Jarkko Immonen and defenseman Corey Potter. Dawes, who now has four goals in five playoff games, was named the No. 1 star. Hartford needs to win just one of the next two games at home on either Saturday or Sunday to advance to the division finals. For more information, visit the Wolf Pack's official site. It was a huge night for Staal and the Wolves, as they beat Belleville to move within one win of reaching the OHL's championship series. Staal, the Sudbury captain, had two assists to earn No. 1 star honors. He picked up the primary assist on the game's first goal, scored on a power play by Kevin Baker at 15:43 of the opening period. He then picked up another second assist on the game winner, scored by Jonathan D'Aversa on a power play with 17 seconds left in the opening period. That goal gave the Wolves a 2-0 lead. Sudbury would later stretch the lead to 3-1 on another power play goal, scored with only 4:59 remaining in the game and close out the scoring with an empty-netter at 18:51 of the third. Staal finished the night with a plus-1 rating. The Wolves can close out the series at home on Friday night. |

I'VE BEEN SAYING ABOUT RACHUNEK ALL THE FRICKEN TIME IN THE FORUM.... IF RACHUNEK IS IN THE LINEUP, RANGERS WILL MOST LIKELY LOSE THE PLAYOFF. AGAIN I REPEAT.. RACHUNEK IS A POOR MAN'S OZOLINSH AND LIKE THE ARTICLE SAID "RACHUNEK misplayed the puck at the blue line in the second period, a gaffe that led to the Sabres' third goal."<--- WHY AM I NOT SUPRISED... WHAT IS UP WITH RENNEY BEING HORNY WITH PLAYERS LIKE RACHUNEK AND OZO. POCK PLAYS WITH MORE ENERGY AND DOESNT MAKE BONEHEADED PLAY. THIS IS SORTA MAKES ME REMEMBER WHEN JOE TORRE HAD LOVE AFFAIR WITH FELIX HEREDIA WHO WALKED BUNCH OF HITTERS.

GAME SET MATCH
SABRES WIN!!!!!!!!! |
Malik cost us this one, with Rachunek a close behind.
If the Sabres play that poorly in MSG, we will be going back to Buffalo tied 2-2 very easily. |
If they can't beat'em playing that poorly tonight, changing buildings isn't going to change anything!!! |
You haven't seen a game at MSG then, we get the last change, we have the best crowd in the NHL.
We actually have the best fans in all of the major 4 sports, I am not afraid to say it. We absolutely rule. |
Don't worry, watching the rags get beat by Buffalo is more than enough fun. |
You look great in your suits. You are a product of location, location, location and nothing more. Remember game 4 vs. the Devils last year. I do, and I remember alot of empty seats. I guess those fans were ruling somewhere else that day. Absolutely. |
