Sit right back and you'll hear a tail, about a hockey team--this year they were the worst..that we've ever seen. The coach just signed his contract, another millionaire...he's not a really good coach..but he doesn't care. The owner lives in Rochester..not in Buffalo..he leaves the games early..so no one sees him go. The season started getting rough..and the play..ers were not...all the fans stomach's..were getting tied in knots. No goals..NO power plays..not a play off spot this year..in HSBC arena..the BOO"s you could hear. So we will all have to wait..for hockey next year!

It's amazing to me that the team thought they were good enough to waste a spot with Peter's who played 10 minutes a week and fights like a girl.

Lindy...Darcy...Try to find a team where a owner has a commitment to putting a winning team on the ice. Both of your talents are wasted here.
Tom you got what you wanted ,a cheap producted that built some equity. Now you can sell. How fast are you going to lay off all the people who work for the Sabres.
Why is it Buffalo sport owners always puts out a inferior product. These owners should be Proud to own 1 of only a few franchises.

I did not renew my season tickets for next year. I am not a fair weather fan, I love hockey and the Sabres. I simply cannot justify spending all that money for tickets ,parking, and concessions any longer for such an inferior product on the ice. I do not blame the players or coaches. I believe management should be held accountable for dismantling this team. Darcy is a joke for a GM. Apparently Golisano does't give a crap either about winning to let the chemistry and leadership on this team leave and to allow Darcy to let it happen. We went from Presidents trophy winner to not even making the playoffs in 1 year How is that possible? Oh wait can you say MANAGEMENT? Hey Golisano you are a smart man do you really believe you are going to sell tickets next year with this team Do everyone a favor and fire Darcy and especially Larry Quinn who can put everything he knows about hockey on the head of a pin.

Picture on the front of the sports page sums it all up. Ryan Miller sitting on his arse looking up at the ceiling wondering why he sucks so bad.
Every time the other team scores he is sitting on his arse.

How many people are you going to fool into buying saesons tickets for next season.

There are 15 in my group of friends and relatives that will not be wasting our money in the Sabres.

Once Larry Quinn is gone, we will reconsider.

Hey Darcy & Tom & Larry
You 3 are the worst Hockey Execs in the Business, you are the laugh of the league. How can you distroy a clubb in 1 Season is AMAZING !!! Good Luck trying to bring back the Season Ticket Holders for next Year. Larry, I think you should worry about the Fish Store on the Waterfornt, because that has been your only Worry this year. Darcy, you have more bull shit that Obama, and Tom, your the owner, you don't appear to be blind.......Or are you. You got dupped by 2 slimeballs, make some drastic changes.

I really am glad that the team did not make the playoffs. They do not deserve to be in the postseason because of their poor start and their very poor finish (losing two games in one week when they were ahead by two goals well into the third period shows a complete lack of character and desire.
But, I am especially glad because the NHL owners claim that they do not make any profit untile the playoffs. If Tom G. would have made any profit this year it would be a total shame, after the way that he and his front office atooges screwed up the team with their poor handling of re-signing of productive and talented players (0ver the past three years)`along with their complete disregard for the loyal fans. He will now feel the pain in the only place that he has feeling - his wallet. Maybe, just maybe, he will now realize that he needs to put a better quality product on the ice, even if it is only for his own selfish, greedy reasons.
This was a fitting end to a crappy seoson.

I can't believe anyone would be surprised we missed playoffs. How far can the Sabres organization expect to go when your #1 goalie is ranked 23rd in goals against. I cannot blame defense. Sure, we lost Campbell, and without him Spacek was useless. He lost his go-to guy. If this team expects to go further next season, they will HAVE TO spend some money for a goaltender. Miller would make a great back-up. He cannot play this many games in a row. He has a year left. I say keep him, make him #2, his worth will go down before his contract expires, and resign him. How many times did the Sabres fight back from a deficit to either tie the game or move ahead just to have Miller blow it a few minutes later. He has one job, and did not do it well. We are 3rd best in the conference for "goals for" and 5th worst for "goals against". Conklin - in playoffs, Briere & Biron - in playoffs (most likely), Drury - in playoffs, Campbell - in playoffs. Two goalies gone and we are stuck with a 23rd ranked goaltender. "Goals For" proves the team got the job done, "Goals Against" proves Miller didn't. I'm tired of the rest of the team sticking up for him by claiming defense was weak or we have a young team. The "age" of the team shouldn't matter - it is a professional sport, therefore you are all professionals. With the style of play our defense has, ofter times going in to pinch, playing deep, or charging the netm the giveaways and odd man rushes are going to happen as they did often this season. That being said, you better have a goalie who can handle those situations - MLLER CANNOT!! The Sabres Organization had no problem letting a veteran goalie like "T-BO" sit the bench most of the year - let Miller sit there next year.

Finally, the suffering is over, for now. Now we wait and see what idiotic moves they make for next year.
