Wow, for such a cosmopolitan Mecca of urban hipness, NYC sure has a lot of whiny sports fans.
They didn't whine in Buffalo when I scored the winning goal for Dallas against the Sabres did they?

Ok so maybe at the end of the next game Renney will throw a tantrum and complain to the refs like crybaby LINDSAY RUFF. Oh wait, yea I forgot, Renney has CLASS. Rangers may not win this series, but I'm now convinced that the slugs will not win the cup.
... and Buffalo fans have to start winning some championships. They do a lot of talkin but so far nothing.

I actually wish Renney would get a little more pissed off sometimes.

It is hysterical that considering the Sabres get every possible call under the sun, that Ruff is the only coach who has been fined for complaining about the officiating during these playoffs.

Bongo,
You got it wrong man, the garbage is in the seats out on the Island, not many, but in the seats
Bongo, Mr. Granger lives in Port Jefferson which is on the Island. As a Ranger fan, Mr. Granger conveniently forgets the dumping of beer on the Boston Bruins at MSG by the "classy" Ranger fans. It prompted Terry O'Reilly and Mike Milbury to climb into the stands and kick the tar out of two of the classy Ranger fans who stayed to face the music. The others fled allegedly into the empty Ranger trophy case.

Clearly those were Islander fans at the Garden as they wanted to see some hockey as there was none going on further East. Ranger fans wouldn't waste a good beer on that schmuck Milbury's head.

Yeah...those fans...never winning the big one. NY fans...now they've won a ton...remember when Jim from Woodbury hit all those HRs for the Yankees, or when MacAdoo set up Messier's goals in '94...now those are some fans who know how to win.

<quoted text>You are right. I couldn't beleive all the penalties the Rangers where getting away with.
Jim my boy… 7 penalties against the Rangers in regulation and only 1 against the Sabres, just what were the refs missing? Are you telling us that the Sabres didn’t commit more than 1 penalty in 60 minutes? Wow, they are really good.

“As for that disallowed goal in the Rangers game, Karel Rachunek slid the puck into the net with his side of his skate blade. A review ensued and the goal was waved off, the fourth time in this year's playoffs that replay worked in the Sabres' favor.”(sounds a little fishy).“It was deemed to be a "distinct kicking motion" which is illegal.
When that rule was introduced, Brian Burke, now GM in Anaheim, was running the league's hockey department and said that the league had nothing against players putting the puck in the net with their skates, but didn't want kicking in goalmouth scrambles because of the danger to players who might be down on the ice.
So using that premise, which is the spirit of the rule, Rachunek's goal should have been allowed. His skate blade never left the ice.”

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
