Romney needs to stay on message and articulate a clear plan to get us out of the Obama malaise. Bush may have created a mess with the help of Frank, Dodd, Greenspan, Geithner and the like, but the Obama admin's uncertainty and business bashing has turned that economic drop into a large, extended recession.

Mitt Romney is the Republicans' throw away candidate. They are not supposed to win. The bankers have spoken. Obama may as well be running unopposed. However, this would look rather suspicious to the American people. They may start asking too many questions. So, they have to make a show of it.
