A questionable signing but it will get rid of the question of how long Torts was going to put up with Zherdev. He has talent but no heart. He was a huge non factor in the playoffs. Oh yeah we are buying the cup by getting a player for less money than Zherdev was asking for. I like all the icelander GMs who chime in every time the NYR do anything. It is always good to read their well thought of, highly intellectual remarks !

Get that cup parade ready baby, Rangers got Kotalik. Rangers are definately a cup contender now and at $3.0 million per year, for a 20 goal scorer this is a STEAL!
Sather is the best GM Evahhhhh! they should really pick out a place for him up in toronto for the hall of fame, year in and year out, he definately makes the best moves for the rangers.
That's funny considering his 20 goals would have led the Isles in scoring last year...

Yet you mock him..

Interesting...

Glen Sather does not know what he is doing. Terrible signing, terrible contract. Overspend on players that will be lackluster as Rangers, don't address the need for a center, how does this guy still have a job. Hopefully Cablevision goes bankrupt and the Dolans can no longer afford the Rangers and are forced to sell them.

They are just upset that they cant even overpay minor leaguers to reach the NHL minimum salary floor.

At this point they will be asking for redden from us just so they can make a minimum salary. Wade would probably shoot himself in the head when he found out about that trade.

A win win for everyone
