I like this deal, it probably means the end of Zherdev. Kotalik is a big forward who scores a majority of goals on the PP. He is willing to be more physical than Zherdev.

I'm fine with Zherdev leaving. Pretty sure he left with a month to go in the season anyway.

Good singing this should help the power play. Especially getting shots on net and taking shots. Last year Rangers couldn't hit a barn. Kotalik should score 30 or more goals this year. You look at this offense and all of a sudden we look potent. We now match up well against Cindy and the Penguins.

Wow Kotalik! Great move by Slats and Mr. Dolan. This proves Slats and Mr. Dolan wants to win with Higgins a 9 goal scorer added this franchise is on the rise. No question this is the best team in the NHL right now. LOL!

Get that cup parade ready baby, Rangers got Kotalik. Rangers are definately a cup contender now and at $3.0 million per year, for a 20 goal scorer this is a STEAL!

Sather is the best GM Evahhhhh! they should really pick out a place for him up in toronto for the hall of fame, year in and year out, he definately makes the best moves for the rangers.

They do have a winning record since the lockout, but I agree with what you're saying.

Another over payed player. Looks like that Optimum IO's rates are going up again. Once the knicks settle some deal to pay some lucritive amount of money for some fading player, expect the rates to go up haha. Its amazing how comes 3 years from now, there is going to be a cap crunch so bad and Kotalik will be signing for 1.75M a year

Stupid dishonest icelander fans post here like they would not like to improve their putrid team. bla bla bla. The Ragers paid a player OMG!!! I am sorry that the Rangers actually try to get better. We should take a page from your great recent history of being the worst, signing no one and complaining that other teams do. then blame the building .. ah yes the building ,it is the building fault no one comes......wait, a moment of clarity....oh yea they are the worst team in the nhl.....no that cannot be it...... yes yes
thats it..The islanders suck. i will go out on a limb and say it is due the the fact they are the worst.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Scorpio

If you've been surrounded by people during the past few days you welcome the chance to have some time to yourself today. It's a wonderful excuse to do something really indulgent in private, such as scoff a whole box of chocolates while watching a favourite film on TV. But make sure you destroy all the evidence before everyone else comes home!
