Just found some old stamps...doubt they're worth anything but..
There is one saying Silver Jubilee Three Half Pence 1910, 1935 kind of a brownish red.
One with a picture of a young looking queen do not know which one... saying EnR in the top corners and 2 cents it is green
and another saying Canada at the top, then at the bottom 7 cents AIR cents 7 shows two men with a paper standing under a plane, it is in blue

These two stamps (which were issued in 1943) are part of a three stamp set known as the National Defense Issue.

According to Scott's 2007 Specialized Catalogue of United States Stamps and Covers, the 2 cent stamp(Scott 900) is valued at 20 cents both used and unused. The 1 cent stamp (Scott 899)is also valued at 20 cents - both used and unused.

Check with your local reference librarian to see if they have a copy of the Scott stamp catalog. Most large libraries do.

Hope this helps.

two reputable sites you can try are
http://www.stamps.org/ The American Philatelic Society and American Stamp Dealers Associationhttp://www.asdaonli ne.com/ where you can find dealers in your local area to have an appraisal done. Also you can go to http://www.thecollectiblestamps.com to see how much others sell the similar stamps for to get an idea.

Good luck!

I have a box of first day covers spanning from 1982 to the mid 90s which were sent out by the Postal Commemorative Society. Since I suppose they would be considered 'used' because they've been sent to me, am I right to assume they're not really worth anything?

Thanks in advance!
