Can anyone help? Some time around 1950 my parents bought out a hobby shop. They sold some of the stuff off but the rest has been stored in their basement all this time. Their gone now and I have all these trains of which I'm keeping a lot of them. Others I don't know what to do with.

The brass interurbans are easy. I haven't been able to find out anything about Sampson, Blue Line or Varney. I have over 400 Varney kits. I'd like to figure out how close I might be to a full set.

Any info or link someone could give me to find out about them would be great. I'm not looking to find out what they are worth or sell them at this time. I just want to find out about them.

Sampson trains were manufatured in Jackson Michigan up to late 1950s. From what I can tell, they sepcialized in magnesium castings and extrusions of stremline passeneger cars. They seem to seel fairly well on ebay depending on how complete the kit is.

I'd be interested in obtaining some of your Blue Line passenger car kits. These are of the 1950-55 era. I've built several- they are a bear to build- requiring some engineering and craftsman skills! Regards- Richard

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Aquarius

You may feel mildly agitated as the sensitive Moon clashes with your life-ruler. Personal difficulties with family members or necessary home repairs may disrupt your day. Deal directly with problems no matter how much you would rather procrastinate. What you avoid today is likely to escalate into a much bigger problem for you to solve tomorrow.
