Parishes vote on church-gate collection ban

Parts of the Diocese of Cork and Ross will ballot this weekend on a voluntary church-gate collection ban which will apply to all charities, sports groups and political parties.

This is just church greed hiding behind the cover screen ''discouraging people from attending Mass''

The church in Ireland has done enough on its own to discourage Mass attendance.The recent Government report speaaks for itself.

The priests sometimes need reminding that some of their own Parishoners are being assisted by Charities.

Faced with declining income a broken Church bites back at its own Parish by picking on the volunteers who give up their own time for Charity work.
By the way, next time you attend Mass take a good look at the Number Plates and types of Car that get parked there.
