I live in Northern California just off the deep water channel in Stockton. For the past couple of weeks there has been a bird outside our backyard near the water's edge that starts to "sing" around midnight and doesn't stop until the early morning hours. I haven't been able to get a visual of the bird, but I have a recording of the sounds it makes. Can anyone identify this?
