COOL! Texas is my April hangout. I would love to bird there in the winter as well. Our Christmas Bird Count is coming up this Saturday here in Michigan and it is fun, but not nearly as diversified as far as number of species. We might get 60 species if we're lucky. But there is hope. I did see a robin today before the cold front moved in with a vengence. I have to admit, though, I am lonely for my orioles, grosbeaks and hummers. Happy birding.
